Lovely large pitches with own shower/toilet. Some pitches are unique in shape and size which adds charm of the site. Great views out over the etang. Good dog walks. The campsite also provides bags and waste bins for dogs. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Vi var her i Maj måned, der var selvfølgelig ingen underholdning. dejlig campingplads med eget bad og toilet. Vi kommer gerne igen.
Handy location if you like water sports, also very convenient for Narbonne. WiFi not working while we were there. Too many mosquitoes, so many we were afraid to sit outside and still got bitten. Some pitches got very waterlogged during some heavy rain.
Reception on arrival was ok.
Pitch was unkept and overgrown with weeds, grass was very long. There were ants and mosquitoes everywhere both were biting frequently.
Wifi in the restaurant area is still not working a year after it was mentioned in another review. Wifi near reception so slow I gave up and used my phone data.
Each pitch had its own shower and toilet, but the light failed on ours in the evening when reception had closed so we could not use it. I reported it in the morning when checking out but the receptionist was not surprised or interested in getting it fixed for the next camper. It would appear that the management and/or owners have lost interest in the place s the general condition gave the impression of neglect.
Loved the location of this campsite. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Own toilet facilities on each pitch which was great. Shower not great and the hot water was limited but if you were quick it was fine. Narbonne is a busy city but the centre along the river is very pretty and worth the visit. Nice walks from the site to the local port and lake. The beach at nouvelle port (at one end of the beach only for dogs) was great for the dog.
We have stayed on this site before so we headed directly for it. The staff are very helpful and friendly and allocated our previous pitch , which is one of their disabled pitches. The facilities are proper disabled and not just in name. We have recommended the site to people we meet on our travels.
Lovely to have your own private loo(with seat and loo paper!) and shower on your pitch, fantastic idea! Pitches separated by greenery and reasonably private, ground quite stony We stayed one night in passing but imagine it would be a good place to visit Carcassonne and surroundings from. We didn't notice an insect problem. Staff very efficient and helpful.
Easy access from the toll road and right next to a lake. Friendly staff. Some Pitches are narrow and long and it would be difficult to site a large caravan with awning and have room for a vehicle.
Brick built blocks on the pitches offer each family their own shower, toilet and sink. This is an excellent idea/facility.
Less than a hours drive to the lovely medieval Town of Carcassonne, a must to visit.
Narbonne is a very nice Town and a short drive from the site.
The main problem was, 3 out of the 4 of us in our party suffered numerous bites from insects on the site and this would put us off from staying again.
Really lovely situated site. Reception was very helpful. The disabled toilet was very good and really for disabled. Toilets are actually on your site, unique.
Would recommend as an overnight, or as a touring base.
This site needs a bit of TLC- some hedges are 15' plus high on long narrow pitches. Lots of mosquitos. In lovely bay with direct access to lake. Clean facilities, pleasant staff and Narbonne looked interesting.
