Travelling party: Couple

Absolutely perfect for exploring Paris. We had 3 nights here and got the RER train into central Paris each day, which took around 25 minutes. Staff were wonderfully helpful. We phoned the booking helpline to book in advance with the ACSI discount- what a bargain way to stay in Paris! Already planning to return.

Good location if visiting Paris, Transport link by train is amazing. 7 minutes walk from the campsite. a weeks train ticket was about 28 euros.

Great ACSI and close enough for visiting Paris. All the site staff were friendly . Think it’s possible to take bikes on the train if you want to cycle in Paris but we were told the cycle paths to Paris from the site used roads and seeing the way cyclist are treated on roads was a no for us . Definitely worth staying .

We chose this campsite because of its proximity to Paris. The railway station is about a 15 minute walk away and has frequent trains into Gare St Lazare. The trip takes about 35 minutes. The site is a little cramped but we didn’t care as we spent very little time there. The train noise is loud but we liked the proximity of the station so chose to ignore it. The water provision was very odd - hard to find and far away from our end of the campsite. The town of Maisons Lafitte was charming. I wouldn’t choose to stay here for its own sake but as a base to visit Paris, it is perfect.
