The female receptionist was unhelpful, unfriendly and probably one of the rudest people I've met. I could go into the whole story but there isn’t enough space. It’s a shame because the location was good, the rooms were good and the staff who didn’t speak English were nice. I wish they’d told us the restaurant was only open on Saturdays and Sundays too. Because of this woman I would strongly recommend not staying here. She didn’t ruin our holiday because we were going to Disneyland with my 4 year old and it was amazing but this is a person that should definitely not be customer facing.
We stayed here for one night. The pitches were very small and at the bottom of the campsite, the trees and bushes were very high which made you feel closed off. We did not feel safe, the staff were very to the point and not very friendly, the toilets were a good walk away.
Close to Disneyland but in a flight path, we heard planes every night!
Swimming pool looked good although we did not use it often and the on site take away did good chips.
We wanted to stay three nights to visit Versailles and Paris to finish off our holiday. We arrived on 26th September and had no reservation. Not being a golfing fan, we didn’t know the Ryder Cup was being hosted locally. We were very lucky to get the last remaining pitch. However, we were told that our ACSI card could not be accepted even though the ACSI guide said the card was valid for that time. Our first pitch was only just a little wider and longer than or 6 metre motorhome. The ground was just uneven dried up mud. Showers and toilets are dated and the shower drains backed up and flooded the floor during busy periods leaving you standing in over a centimetre of waste water. Noise from campers around us went on until after midnight and on two mornings a number of Campervans and cars left the site before 6am. The noise from trains is very loud and they operate until near midnight and start again at about 5am. So we did’nt get much sleep. Before you arrive, I would advise checking with the campsite to make sure the ACSI card is accepted for the dates you wish to stay. On the plus side, the campsite is well located for getting to the palace of Versailles and the city of Paris.
Very few camping pitches on site as it is mostly bungalows. Receptionist didn't seem to understand ACSI pricing and it took ages booking in as she wanted to charge us a hight price for a night. After showing her the page in the book she then wanted to charge for the dog which should have been included. Eventually after a lot of messing about she charged us the good price Other camper we discussed it with had similar problem. Having said that plots a good size and convenient for visiting surrounding area. Heated pool quite small and outdoor one was too cold to use when we were there.
