General information
Campsite Ras l'Bol is a campsite with 150 touring pitches. During low season, between 01-04-2019 - 30-06-2019 and 01-09-2019 - 14-10-2019, the nightly rate is €18,- at one of the 150 touring pitches at Campsite Ras l'Bol in Olmeto (South Corsica). At this campsite you can not only use your CampingCard ACSI for inexpensive camping, you can also use your ACSI Club ID (as an alternative ID).
Spacious campsite with free choice of pitches. Long, wide sandy beach close to Filitosa. Good toilet facilities and motorhome service, two heated swimming pools, one of which is a children's pool.

Travelling party: Seniors
Book states there is a shop with extensive selection but there is no shop on site, however there is a small Spar shop with limited selection approx 500 mtr from site.
Book states cold water wash up but it is warm.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of June.
The pitches are tiny, probably the smallest we have encountered anywhere. We have a small camper so had adequate room but larger motorhomes had hardly enough room to put up their awnings. Also the trees on site are in desperate need of attention, whilst we were there a large branch fell onto a motorhome and crushed the front end! Luckily no one was injured. The beach is very good but across the road and then along a walkway so a bit of a hike.
We would not return here.

Travelling party: Couple
The site is densely planted with lines of tall trees, which makes for good shade, but access to some pitches might be tricky for larger motorhomes especially in busy periods, with narrow entrances through the woods. Showers were on the budget end of modern, a bit small, with concrete floors, and the metal drainage grid along the back was a bit unwelcoming to stand on. The water was fine - and hot enough. Other facilities on site (pool, restaurant) did not appear to be fully open when we were there in mid May. The woman in Reception was very welcoming and friendly. Access to a pretty beach is across the coast road which runs alongside the site in an elevated position. There\'s a bakery, restaurant and small supermarket a short walk away and the Neolithic site of Filitosa, which is worth a visit, is a few kilometres drive.
