Travelling party: Couple

Stayed one night but a scenic area to explore for a longer stay. Not time to cycle round the smaller part of the lake but nice walk. The local villages very quaint. Pitch large and level enough in a lovely setting. Toilet and shower facilities clean but not enclosed against the elements in cooler weather.

Lovely site - in the woods, so expect uneven sloping ground and debris from trees. About 2-3 km from boulangerie and bar/restaurant. 100m from Lac du Der with its cycle track all round it. There\'s surely a plot for everyone, whatever your requirements (out of season)

  • From Châlons-en-Champagne follow N44 dir. St. Dizier. From Vitry-le-François follow N4. Turn south halfway towards Orconte, Larzicourt, Arrigny. On northwest side of lake and ± 2 km south of Arrigny. Follow signs.
