Stayed for two nights on a beautifully manicured site/pitch, hardstanding, electric point on pitch and water point close by. Very friendly staff on reception so would recommend this small site on the “northern” edge of Lac d Orient so much quieter and easier than its big rival on the “other side”!

A very nice campsite with good access to the Lake. Facilities are good. We were there in September, I would imagine that the blocks may be a lot busier in high season. Great walks nearby for dogs. Staff very helpful and friendly. Recommended.

Great site for a stop over if your travelling up from the South to Northern France. Big secure site, lots of pitches to choose from, little snack bar on site, we didn\'t use it, but it looked nice, they do have a weekly wine tasting. Hard standing pitch. Toilet / shower clean, lovely hot water.

Easily located and accessed. The pitches could be considered tight if looking to fit van, awning and car. Reception efficient and, when necessary, helpful. Much quieter than neighbouring sites with easy access to lake beach and cycle paths.Well positionedto explore the surrounding area. New large supermarket now opened roughly 5 kms from site.

Well located campsite, just a stone throw away from the lake. We had dinner at the Pizza place just near the lake and the food was good and reasonably priced. The campsite was quiet and we were happy with the pitch we had. Even though the site was relatively full it didn’t seem overcrowded and the pitches were spacious. Toilet blocks were clean but could do with a bit of face lift. Showers were warm and there are plenty of them, so didn’t have to queue. Great site for a stop over and we would go back in the future.

We stayed here for two nights in June the site was reasonably busy but not full we picked a pitch down near the road because I wanted to get satellite tv to watch rugby. The nicest pitches overlooking fields were at the top of the site. Our pitch did have some noise from the road if you were further up you wouldn't hear it. The site is lovely and clean and tidy with different pitches to suite all tastes.

Toilets were ok clean and adequate. The lady in the shop was friendly she didn't speak much English about as much as my French. There was a small cafe serving food I didn't try it but another camper told me it was good.

There are two nice bars across the road which also did take away and eat in food there was a lovely beach on the lake but you couldn't take dogs on it, although there was a small beach at the side which dogs were allowed. There is a cycle track which runs all around the lake and you can walk along it. You can hire bikes near the beach. I would definitely stay again.

Update on previous review. Showers very good, clean and hot. Old but looked after. Would stay again no question.

We arrived at about 18.30 on Friday 31st evening in March. The chap in reception couldn't have been more helpful an welcoming. Pitch very neat and tidy, facilities used but appear maintained. So far so good, can't fault it for an overnight stay, what will morning bring?

We stopped over here at the very end of February. Understandably the site looked a little shabby as our stay as so early. I can imagine that in summer it would be a perfect family location as just over the very quiet road was the amazing lake with what will obviously be pizza and snack bars to entertain. The welcome was a little lack lustre, but the area fabulous.
