Not new, but nice heated toilet block, really friendly staff, a lovely little lakeside, restaurant opposite (open even on a wet October evening - until curfew time!), and perfectly placed for stopover Calais > Annecy area, being in really easy reach of motorway. Would def stop again - imagine it would get busy in summer as the lake is so nice, but not a huge site so booking may be a good idea. Open all year which is v useful. Laid back and friendly (not to be confused with the big more regimented site on the other side of the lake).

A great little campsite perfectly situated next to the lake and beach. Friendly staff though with limited English, though with our limited French we still muddled through and they did arrange an appointment at the vets in preparation for our return home. Plenty to do at the lake with water sports, pedalos, crazy golf etc plus there’s a pizzeria there, though this had just closed for the season in early September. However there’s a small snack bar on site which looked fine and a small shop with the basics. Showers were good, hot water, lots of hooks, seating and shelving. Just remember to check if any have been closed for the season and remember to take toilet roll!

Stayed for 4 night during our tour of France. Well laid out site and very busy with many overnighters. Even so it was quiet and peaceful. There were pitches of all sizes and it pays to have a walk round and find a pitch to suit your particular rig if you get the choice. The reception area houses a small shop with essential grocery items. Lunchtime and evenings there is a small Fritterie and bar with a simple snack menu.
The site is in a good position if you are travelling north or south through France being quite close to the A20.

This campsite was very busy when we arrived in early September. Part of the site, including showers, had been closed at the end of August. The pitches are close together and our pitch was not level. The facilities could definitely do with an upgrade. As in many French sites, there was no toilet seat, loo paper or soap.
The snack hut served good food and the breakfast was most enjoyable, with homemade jams.

Handy stopover on the way south. Pleasant cycle path to nearby Lusigny for local small supermarket. Cafes by the lake for evening meals. Good emplacements.

Stayed for two nights on a beautifully manicured site/pitch, hardstanding, electric point on pitch and water point close by. Very friendly staff on reception so would recommend this small site on the “northern” edge of Lac d Orient so much quieter and easier than its big rival on the “other side”!

A very nice campsite with good access to the Lake. Facilities are good. We were there in September, I would imagine that the blocks may be a lot busier in high season. Great walks nearby for dogs. Staff very helpful and friendly. Recommended.

Great site for a stop over if your travelling up from the South to Northern France. Big secure site, lots of pitches to choose from, little snack bar on site, we didn\'t use it, but it looked nice, they do have a weekly wine tasting. Hard standing pitch. Toilet / shower clean, lovely hot water.

Easily located and accessed. The pitches could be considered tight if looking to fit van, awning and car. Reception efficient and, when necessary, helpful. Much quieter than neighbouring sites with easy access to lake beach and cycle paths.Well positionedto explore the surrounding area. New large supermarket now opened roughly 5 kms from site.
