Quiet campsite in great location on edge of lake.

handily open in Low Season. One toilet block being refurbished. Other, only Male open as unisex. It can’t be too much to ask to provide hand soap (hand dryer, toilet paper or toilet seat would be a bonus)! Very dark at night

Nice site next to the lake, facilities clean and tidy, takeaway open, pizza and fries. nice friendly staff short walk to the lake.

Attractive little 2 star site let down by a dreadful toilet block, first site I couldn't bring myself to shower in. Reception very friendly and pitches a good size generally (ok for us towing a car). Snack bar open 7pm for pizza and burgers. By nice little lake with beach, in summer hire of bikes, boats, segways etc.

Great site for 1 or 2 nights, access to lake beach just across the road. Fantastic area for cycling with km's of cycle paths. We've stayed on the opposite side of the lake previously, prefer here as less commercial. Only downside is the cleanliness of the toilet block, here 2 nights & not been cleaned whilst we've been here, as a brand new toilet block this really lets it down, no problem for us in a motorhome using our own facilities, this would make this a great site if changed!

We used this site at the beginning of March on a stop over to Spain. Good hard standing, needed for early trips, choice of pitches. Electric hook up. Good toilet block, plenty of hot water in showers. Next to a beautiful lake, must be fab to visit in summer.

We stayed for 2 nights, the majority of staff were friendly and helpful. Most pitches didn’t appear very level, we moved from our allocated pitch and informed reception of this.
Although there was hot water in the showers, it was cold at the wash basins; the toilet facilities were truly awful. The first block was in desperate need of updating. The second block was in the process of being built, the female side was completed and in use for everyone. Both blocks had no toilet seats, toilet roll or hand soap. They were filthy, clumps of hair in the showers, debris on the floor and dead flies around the wash basins. I didn’t see a cleaner once and when I asked a member of staff they said they weren’t working yesterday so we’re not aware but they only had one cleaner!
Such a shame as it could be a pleasant site.

Unfortunately Geraudot are still operating their system (which we encountered last year for the first time) of giving ACSI members small/badly placed pitches - as opposed to some of their pleasant pitches - which were still available. Be warned that these are not really large enough for car, caravan and the expectation to sit and eat outside. Even as a stopover this isn’t very good now. We visited in mid June and one of the two Sanitaires was closed, resulting in pressure on the only other one and queues for washing up.

Ok site for an overnight to or from ferries. Toilets and showers in need of refurbishing. Pitches fairly small. Good access to lake with restaurants

We have used this site many times on our way south through France and always enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and pleasant grassy emplacements. This time there may have been a change of management? We were told, firmly, that the pitch they had allocated to us was the one we must have and sent us on our way. The pitch (not an emplacement) was on gritty hardstanding and squeezed in behind a motorhome (who also looked unhappy about their ‘allocation’) and with several cabines next to us along with their cars. As it was only one night and they had made it clear that there was no option we put up with it. Annoying that plenty of the grassy emplacements remained empty anyway! They may have decided that at the ACSI rate this is all we qualified for? Whatever their reasoning, they have lost a customer. A direct complaint to ACSI will also follow.
