Turned up without booking as we always do in France. Made very welcome by lady who turned out to be the owner. Told to pitch where we liked and come back and pay anytime before we leave which we did after 2 extra nights. How\'s that for trust. Our own private bathroom to rear of caravan, clean and loads of piping hot water..great shower. (how about that Caravan and Motorhome Club!!) For us it sure beats sharing & trailing about in the rain. Lovely site though maybe not for children.
We will be back.

Booked after reading reviews on ACSI. Took 2 emails to get a response but once confirmed we drove down. Site looking a bit unkempt, the reception has a note to say if there is no one there just pick a pitch. The pitches by the river are level, the others sloping slightly. There is no tv signal and Wi-Fi is patchy at best. The idea of a toilet and shower per pitch is good but they are in need of a bit if simple maintenance and cleaning.

The restaurant on site was open every night and it is busy. I think the owners might be overlooking the camping due to the restaurant's popularity. We ate there on the last night as we hadn't seen anyone to pay for the camping. Food was decent, big portions and reasonably priced with everything from frites and beer to steak, fois gras and 170€ bottles of wine. Hard work getting the bill and coukdveadiky have left without anyone knowing we were camping, we didn't. Glenn, the owner was friendly but they were just so busy. I think it is a 3 person team in total for the packed restaurant and kitchen. They must be making good money from the food so maybe hire someone part time to man reception, do odd jobs and cleaning? Overall not bad, but don't forget the campsite.

What can I say? If you want a rural site, with a private bathroom, and loads of equipment for primary aged kids, this site is a must! Large pitches with shade, and your very own loo, and shower with seat and paper! Lots of wildlife, miles from everything. Bread van calls every day. We loved it!

And now for something completely different. This most unusual site is one of the quietest we've ever stayed on with only noise from the wildlife in the surrounding woods. Tourist pitches spacious enough for our large tent and the private wet-room with toilet, shower and wash basin is excelent.
Need your two pin euro plug for your electric connection.
Although we visited after an extraordinary wet period, the pitch was not wet and soggy.
Full marks to Wendy and Glenn.
Finally I must say, I believe this site deserves better than the single star rating it has.

Nice having own facilities. Large camping plots and a stream passing the site. Visited southern Belgium which is very close.

Excellent location with individual toilet / shower facilities. Really good base to explore this generally ignored yet wonderful area.

This was a great find, first time here hopefully not our last, staff very friendly, great welcome, very quiet, own private toilets/shower block, with lots of hot water, really nice. The only down side was the WiFi, it was always crashing !! poor signal, I never did use the 5 hours !! but I would return.

We had a lovely welcome from Wendy and was shown a pitch that, in my experience was a first. Each pitch has a wooden hut at the rear, which houses a 'Wet Room' complete with toilet and wash basin. It is the best system I have come across in Europe. The restaurant is open to the public and is of an exceptional standard. The site is only a few miles from the Belgium border and 40 miles from Luxembourg and is well sited for vising the Ardene.
