Wonderful camping with super friendly owners. Excellent facilities, beautifully cleaned, having your own shower & toilet on your pitch was fantastic. The campsite is very nicely laid out with a stream and mature trees for shade if needed also very peaceful and quiet, with beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the season, we have to come earlier next time and
look forward to visit again next year!

First class site. Excellent location particularly good for dog walks but note there are restrictions on walking in the forest due to disease prevention issues.
Restaurant excellent but let down by Lidl type pre cooked bread, particularly as there is an excellent Baker in the village.

lovely site, with individual shower and toilet blocks which is really nice touch. could havr done with a bit of upgrade and maintenance - I tripped the fuse, but there was no fuse box to acess. large pitches with some slope to them.
didn\'t eat or drink so can\'t comment and don\'t have kids

I stayed here for two nights and loved it. very quiet with only the noise of bird chatter. each plot has its own washroom with shower and toilet, which is a first for me! they are basic and a little tired, but clean and lots of hot water

Pre booked this site for 3 days. What a gem. The private toilet facilities were superb, clean and spacious with hot water a plenty.
The owner was very welcoming and helpful. We had a fenced in pond with swans ducks and deer right behind our pitch..brilliant.
The restaurant is top notch and free wifi was easily obtainable sitting outside the restaurant at tables and chairs. Cracking childrens play area (not noisy just a couple of supervised kids having fun) Highly recommend this site Local town has fuel pubs cafes with french supermarkets close by and Lidl.

Turned up without booking as we always do in France. Made very welcome by lady who turned out to be the owner. Told to pitch where we liked and come back and pay anytime before we leave which we did after 2 extra nights. How\'s that for trust. Our own private bathroom to rear of caravan, clean and loads of piping hot water..great shower. (how about that Caravan and Motorhome Club!!) For us it sure beats sharing & trailing about in the rain. Lovely site though maybe not for children.
    We will be back.

Booked after reading reviews on ACSI. Took 2 emails to get a response but once confirmed we drove down. Site looking a bit unkempt, the reception has a note to say if there is no one there just pick a pitch. The pitches by the river are level, the others sloping slightly. There is no tv signal and Wi-Fi is patchy at best. The idea of a toilet and shower per pitch is good but they are in need of a bit if simple maintenance and cleaning.

The restaurant on site was open every night and it is busy. I think the owners might be overlooking the camping due to the restaurant\'s popularity. We ate there on the last night as we hadn\'t seen anyone to pay for the camping. Food was decent, big portions and reasonably priced with everything from frites and beer to steak, fois gras and 170€ bottles of wine. Hard work getting the bill and coukdveadiky have left without anyone knowing we were camping, we didn\'t. Glenn, the owner was friendly but they were just so busy. I think it is a 3 person team in total for the packed restaurant and kitchen. They must be making good money from the food so maybe hire someone part time to man reception, do odd jobs and cleaning? Overall not bad, but don\'t forget the campsite.

What can I say? If you want a rural site, with a private bathroom, and loads of equipment for primary aged kids, this site is a must! Large pitches with shade, and your very own loo, and shower with seat and paper! Lots of wildlife, miles from everything. Bread van calls every day. We loved it!
