Travelling party: Couple

Booked site as a stopover for 1 night. Warm welcome on arrival and staff were very pleasant and helpful. Pitches were good size and well maintained as were the toilet and shower block.
Only disappointment was that brochure said that the “take away” was available from 6:30 to 8:30 in low season, 6:00 to 9:00 in high season. At 7:50 I went to get my take away but it was closed. It wouldn’t, however, prevent me from returning or recommending the site to others.
Cannot comment on child friendliness as we didn’t have children in the party and neither did we partake of any sports facilities.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a motorhome in April 2019. Lovely site, pitches are well laid out and of good size. Toilet/shower/pot wash etc all really clean and spacious. Small clean chip shop on site open nightly. Bread delivered to order daily.Staff are lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Great campsite. Very good value for money. There’s a lovely lake you have access to and a trampoline and play areas for children. The toilets were unisex which were a little odd and the Wi-fi wasn’t working.

Very peaceful and charming site. Lovely pitches. Loos rather low but perfectly clean and tidy with loo paper and soap.
Village has small shop but not much else. German war graves on the edge of the village but nothing else that we could find to visit for many miles.
We used it as a two night stopover and may do again as it was so nice. Plenty of ‘seniors’ seemed to enjoy just sitting outside their caravans enjoying the pleasant surroundings so if you like that sort of thing it would be ideal!

Lovely peaceful campsite. Spotless facilities with plenty of hot water. Very friendly and helpful owners who arranged a vet visit for our dog. Large pitches. Walking and cycling from site. Perfect restful stay before our return to GB.

What a great little campsite. We stayed for 5 days because it was so peaceful and friendly. The owners are so kind and helpful and the site itself great value. Thoroughly enjoyed the local walks and the quiet roads for cycling. We\'d highly recommend the site and particularly the Friterie.
