The site is ok but we found the managers rude and offensive. Communicated with clients by shouting and try to belittle them, we will never visit again
Very friendly staff. Beautiful natural campsite, with lots of trees and near a fishing lake. There was electricity and water on each pitch. We went in May so some of the pitches were a bit boggy, but the lady on reception told us which ones to avoid. Lots to do for kids and space to run around. Toilet facilities etc were clean but needed updating. I’d stay again for the peace and quiet. Little supermarket and bar in the town 10 mins walk.
Lovely site would definitely go back this time with my fishing rod to fish the lovely lake ,nice staff and a lovely little bar
Stopped on this site for one night. Lovely clean site. Excellent toilet/shower facilities. Helpful staff. Lovely lake. Lots of walks around site. Vets in near village. Will definitely stay again.
Was just OK as a stopover. Free Wi-Fi on pitch but was time and amount limited which is good enough for few emails but not much else. Pitch was long enough for car and caravan in line although fairly narrow. Only 2 gents toilets and no paper in dispensers. Water taps on site very limited. Used camper van service point to empty toilet.
We thought that this site gave poor value for money. We stayed for the first weekend in July which was the start of the high season for them. The site was full and busy. The rubbish and recycling bins were overflowing. The toilets ran out of toilet paper. There are only 2 wcs in the gents. The water tap was shared by over a dozen pitches and was in need of renovation. It needed skillful manipulation to stop it. Also the tap was used as an ad hoc dishwahing area which was not very pleasant as it had no drain or soakaway. The vidoir, toilet emptying point was in the far sanitary block; I had to put the toilet into the car boot to take it there. The lake was pleasant but the pitches by it were quickly taken. we will only use this site again in low season as it is not worth paying the full price.
Friendly well maintained site situated on the edge of the village, Marie and her team made us feel very welcome, nothing was to much trouble. We were on a beautiful flat pitch on the edge of the lake and to top it all free fishing.
Sanitary facilities were good and clean, we stayed one week and will definitely return.
Marie made us really welcome and gave us loads of information about the area. We stayed for 3 nights visited the local chateau (there were only 6 other visitors) which was really interesting. Enjoyed the cycling from the site and of course the fishing. This is a great stopover or a place to spend some time. We will definitely go back
A good site to use as it is right on the main road, the site was clean as was the shower block. The local town has the normal bar, bakers and supermarket all just a very short walk. We have used the site several times and we will use it each time we pass that way.
Stayed here for a few nights as it was convenient for the road north but could have stayed longer. The pitch sizes are very big and it is great having the station for Orleans and the small town both within walking distance. The nearest restaurant is very good. Marie was very pleasant and helpful.
