Travelling party: Seniors

Initially we were going to stay for 1 week but in the end we stayed for 3 weeks. This site has everything for a couple our age (late seventies) With a supermarket next door, lovely heated indoor pool, large sheltered pitch, spotless toilet facilities, it really ticked all the boxes for us.

Travelling party: Couple

Despite great reviews we were disappointed on arrival. Site very untidy with weeds and uncut grass. Pitch had very long grass which was very wet due to the poor weather.
Excellent location for supermarket and pizzeria. Not so good for walking into Montrichard along a very busy road.
Swimming pool open early in the season which was a bonus. Sanitary facilities spotless.
Forgot our ACSI card, no sympathy or option to check our membership, therefore very expensive.

The camp site is fine. Large pitches and easy access. Friendly staff who speak very good English.
It’s close to a supermarket.
So that’s the good side.
However. WiFi has to be purchased. It’s near a noisy road.
It’s not far to the town but not a nice walk. I didn’t find the town very tourist friendly and not really worth coming for..
