A 4 star site with all the amenities one would expect. English spoken at reception by friendly and helpful staff. Toilet and shower facilities excellent and cleaned twice a day. Pitches are large, level and because they are all under trees can be muddy if the weather is wet. In hot weather the shade would be a boon but when it rains the trees drip for hours afterwards. Great swimming pools and nice restaurant/bar. Large Super U 5 minutes from site for provisions and fuel and a pleasant walk up into the village and chateau.

This was a perfect location for visiting Ypres, Lille and Vimy Ridge. The picturesque local town, Bailleul, is well worth a visit in its\' own right and has a busy market on Tuesdays. There are plenty of signs directing you to the site from the town. There are pitches in an open field next to the chickens and some nice hedged pitches. We chose the latter with electricity and water. The showers and toilets are unisex ; very clean and modern. A lovely lady showed us all around the available pitches and was really welcoming. Very good value including electricity. We will return when next visiting Ypres.

Visited this site on recommendation in order to visit 3 chateau in the Loire. We cycled into Cheverny to visit this delightful Chateau in the village which is accessible via designated cycle paths. The site is excellent with friendly and helpful staff. Bread and croissant are delivered each day to order and there is a bar and takeaway which provides fresh pizza. The shop was running down stock towards the end of their season but we could buy the essentials. The pools looked lovely (the largest was covered) and were clean and attractive as were the toilet blocks. Will definitely return!

Great site set amongst tall trees. Good shade but plenty of sunlight in through day.
Stayed 11 nights but most were overnight or few days. Nearly all Dutch and British. Quiet with minor road noise one end. Good cycle route maps available on tracks and quiet roads. Plenty of chateau around to visit, or vineyards.

We have stayed here a few times but this was our first visit with our own caravan. The site is always friendly and the staff very helpful. The site is well equipped and pitches are of a good size although occasionally too much shade. Access to the Chateaux a Velo cycle route is close by and there are several clearly signposted rides with lovely scenery on tracks and quiet country roads. Bar is welcoming but the range of food is limited and pizza not great. The covered pool is a good size and well maintained.

This is a great site for visiting the region. Good Super U close. Very friendly staff. Pitches are on level ground but can get muddy in bad weather, there is plenty of shade and a great swimming pool. Very child friendly and fascilities are good. You can fish for free in the campsite pool. A very good site.

We stayed here a week as part of a Caravan Camping Club holiday site. It is a pleasant site, but set in trees so nearly always shady and when there it was a little damp. The facilities were excellent, with toilet paper and seats. The staff speak reasonable English and are helpful and friendly. There 3 pools, indoor/outdoor and kids all clean and with sun beds around them. There is a bar and small snack bar although we didn\'t use it looked okay. The area is ideal for exploring the Loire with it chateau etc. Excellent for cycling with paths connecting with the site and variable in distance. Chateau at Cheverny at walking distance.

Well laid out site used as a one night stopover. Pitches has suffered from the persistent rain in June 16 and were on the muddy side. Toilets also suffering from the muddy conditions. Nice covered pool. Take away choice very poor, unless you like pizza or quiche! Very limited shop.

Oh dear. This the least enjoyable of the sites we stayed at. The staff at reception were fine but it was the only site where we told we could only choose from one row of pitches on the site. That quickly became just one available pitch on that row. Other pitches remained empty during our one night stay, lovely site.... if you’re a sardine. Row upon row of pitches separated by not much. You’ll have someone’s car or table right next to you or be looking out and straight into their motorhome. Pitch was getting bare already. There are two sanitaires, but only one has a cassette toilet emptying facility. So you have the pleasure of trundling it halfway across the over rough ground. Toilets have paper, outside the cublicle. Shower only works when you release the button (not when you press it in). Buttons are quite stiff. Facilities are clean but far from the best we used on our trip. We didnt use pool or bar. The looked nice enough. There are no nice touches of planting anywhere on the site, but it is well shaded by mature trees. Wifi only in bar area. Bins only when you go outside the barrier. We stayed at La Fleche earlier in the week and although that was also quite busy, they had not packed the site as much. This one feels like a money mill. So unenjoyable that we opted to leave early and have breakfast at a picnic area down the road instead.
