gtrat campsite great staff very large pitches beautiful site in a forest . only thing let it down for me was the toilet blocks showers a bit small and not a full wall between ladies and gents
Very pleasant site with welcoming staff. A good shop on site sells most essential provisions, and takes orders for bread for the next morning. Our pitch was a very good size, although water and waste facilities were a distance away. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed 8 nights in a caravan. Superb site well placed in the Loire valley for visiting chateaus, towns and markets. Good cycling from the site. Staff very helpful nothing seemed to be too much. Great pool although can get busy. Facilities always clean. Ate in the restaurant freshly cooked, good service and good value. Would not hesitate to recommend or return to this site
A very good site with excellent facilities friendly staff with good English spoken. React for young families but even we oldies loved it.
An excellent site. Very helpful lady on reception. A great pool and clean facilities. Close to many chateau. Excellent cycling. Gourmet restaurants in village and Blois is lovely for nearest big towm.
Excellent site nestled amongst large trees giving shaded and partially shaded pitches. Pitches are generally large and many have individual electric, water and waste at no extra charge. Toilets are cleaned regularly and are of high standard. Hot water for washing up and hand clothes washing and washing machine available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great for families in high season and us oldies in low season. Pool facilities good. Bar and restaurant good but a bit pricey and nowhere else local to go that's walkable. We'll situated to visit Châteaux at Chaumont (by bike easily), Chenonceau, Cheverney, Amboise, Blois, Chambord to mention just a few. Would definitely come back.
An excellent site for touring the Loire - we have used for the last 3 years for a stopover on the way to the Dordogne. Large pitches with some shade, all fully serviced (grand comfort). Helpful reception, with discounted tickets for chateaux. Excellent play facilities for children (we were in the low season!). Particularly enjoy the bar/restaurant area where the staff are entertaining and excellent. Well signed from Chaumont, care approaching from the east, immediately leaving Cande-s-Beuvron carry straight on the minor road before the first right-hand bend - easy to overshoot!
An excellent site probably one of the best Kawan sites we have visited. Superb pool (well heated). Found staff very helpfull in every way. Certainly a site we will return to.
