Travelling party: Couple

Stayed for three nights near the end of November.
Site was very maintained - especially considering the wet weather. Super warm, modern heated facilities. Ample electricity points for all emplacements and standpipes for fresh water. Guardian du camping very considerate and friendly.
A very nice campsite in a good location.
More than just a one night stopover.

Travelling party: Couple

Pleasant location by the river with the towns of St Marcel & Argenton within walking distance. Easy access to Voie Verte for cycling. BUT fresh water only available from sink in facilities block (outside point directly above black waste emptying point). Some pitches needed long EHU lead and some only accessible over campsite road. No boulangerie close by & no bread delivery out of season. Busy feel with most units using it as an overnight stay.

Validity period of the latest book did not match this app therefore we were charged high season prices whereas the book said we still had a couple of days of validity left!!? Otherwise a lovely place

Firstly, the only good thing about this site is its location next to a scenic river. There are not many electric hook up points. You will need an extension lead. Water supply is in the shower blocks. Out of season one shower block shut, also mixed sex shower and toilet blocks. Grassed area unkept and dog mess on grass. It says near to town, its quite a walk, maybe better on bikes. Reception area and cafe seating area is very scruffy. I would not choose to stay here again.

Reaction from the campsite 24 October 2017
