Travelling party: Seniors

Shady large level shaded and part shaded pitches separated by hedges, small site near river and town, very friendly staff.
Site is adjacent to various cycle routes, notably the Loire a Velo. Easy good cycleways to many of the major Chateaux, Chenoncaux, Villandry, Chaumont Amboise and Tours are within 16 or 17 miles.
Supermarket within 1/2 mile, buses within easy walking range,
This site is perfect.
We will be back. Can’t recommend better than excellent

Travelling party: Couple

please add to my previous review the toilets are immaculate with toilet paper and toilets seats as well as paper seat covers - the shower cubicles are a little bigger than average and the water was always hot whilst we were here - the piped music/radio was a bonus. Lovely safe playground for children and covered picnic area.

What a delightful site - the first one we have stayed at without a pool and how peaceful and quiet is it. Dimitri cares for it lovingly and there are so many quirky things to see. All pitches are clearly demarcated with neatly trimmed hedges, spacious and level. Easy walk into the village which has a decent sized Auchan (supermarket) and the usual little shops. There are many chateaus to visit but we thoroughly enjoyed Leonardo da Vinci Chateau du Clos Lucé. Tourist information in the village is most helpful as they are everywhere we have been over the last 7 wks.

Travelling party: Couple

Lovely clean site near village with baker butcher and restaurant.
Good level pitches with high hedges for privacy.
Dimitri, who looks after the site is one of the nicest people you could meet.

Lovely quiet site, older amenity block but spotless with seats and paper!

Friendly, young English speaking owners who are new to the site and have a will to make it work

Travelling party: Group of friends

Stayed for 6 nights. Small pretty campsite, very well maintained and clean. Vouvray on the doorstep with various good restaurant options. Plenty of hot water, staff very helpful.

Excellent run campsite , good location in a village with a few bars and restaurants, the Italian restaurant at the entrance La Scala was excellent value and great food. The site has good size pitches and some are shaded under trees. Toilet facilities are a little dated but very clean. Backer and butches all just a short walk from the site. Nice little village friendly. Perfect stop for us, we would have stayed a lot longer but we had to meet the ferry to the UK at Calais. We will return for a longer visit and would highly recommend this camp site.
