Very nice site excellent for walking, lots of trails, interesting buildings in the rocks, facilities are basic but clean no swimming pool .
A wonderful site.Very welcoming young staff ,who are working non stop.Very well maintained pitches, lovely plants.Toilets excellent and seat covers provided. An easy walk into the village where there is a pizza restaurant that appears very popular. This site would put many a 4 * campsite to shame.
We will certainly use again ,when on route to or from Cherbourg.
Shady large level shaded and part shaded pitches separated by hedges, small site near river and town, very friendly staff.
Site is adjacent to various cycle routes, notably the Loire a Velo. Easy good cycleways to many of the major Chateaux, Chenoncaux, Villandry, Chaumont Amboise and Tours are within 16 or 17 miles.
Supermarket within 1/2 mile, buses within easy walking range,
This site is perfect.
We will be back. Can’t recommend better than excellent
please add to my previous review the toilets are immaculate with toilet paper and toilets seats as well as paper seat covers - the shower cubicles are a little bigger than average and the water was always hot whilst we were here - the piped music/radio was a bonus. Lovely safe playground for children and covered picnic area.
What a delightful site - the first one we have stayed at without a pool and how peaceful and quiet is it. Dimitri cares for it lovingly and there are so many quirky things to see. All pitches are clearly demarcated with neatly trimmed hedges, spacious and level. Easy walk into the village which has a decent sized Auchan (supermarket) and the usual little shops. There are many chateaus to visit but we thoroughly enjoyed Leonardo da Vinci Chateau du Clos Lucé. Tourist information in the village is most helpful as they are everywhere we have been over the last 7 wks.
Great campsite where the owner makes a huge effort to ensure everything is good.
Lovely clean site near village with baker butcher and restaurant.
Good level pitches with high hedges for privacy.
Dimitri, who looks after the site is one of the nicest people you could meet.
Lovely quiet site, older amenity block but spotless with seats and paper!
Friendly, young English speaking owners who are new to the site and have a will to make it work
Well maintained campsite. Friendly, helpful staff. Good location for cycling, Chateaux, city and vineyard visits. Good bus service into Tours. Would recommend.
Lovely site. Near village with all you need. The warden , Dimitri, is vary helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer.
