As per many other reviews, this is a lovely site within walking distance of the town and multiple wine tour/tasting venues. There is a small bar on the right heading into town, plus the normal shops and a few restaurants. The Italian near the site was the only one open the night we eat out but it was busy and good.
Large seperated pitches and good facilities on the site, busy in May so for sure book ahead.

Wonderful, water + electric + high screened privacy hedges cleverly designed for when using central 4 pitch hook up points. Some hard standing one side of many pitches. Quick access to Tours and Loire river. Place to return to. 2 minute walk into village and restaurants. 10 minutes free wi fi a day.

Absolutely loved this site. Made to feel welcome and instantly relaxed so stayed longer than planned.

Well spaced out flat and private pitches with own water and electric. Plenty of shade if needed.

Don't follow Google maps... stay on road till junction and take left just before vets if arriving from the east.

Lovely site on river although you cannot really see it except glimpses from a couple of spots. Not too far off the autoroute so a good stopover, but once discovered you will want to go back. No food on site but very short walk into town with several options. Same for wine tasting caves - plenty of those on your doorstep. Good for cycling too.

This is a lovely peaceful small site. Nothing g was to much trouble. We got a bus into Tours which was very interesting. The site is very clean & full of flowers. Hedges separate the pitches which are quite large. We will definitely return.

having spent 4 months in Europe over the last 15 months I would say this is one of the best!.nothing fancy but a nice atmosphere ,clean and so well looked after, a very cozy feel and great location. The owner simply puts his heart and soul into it!! cannot recommend enough

An excellent site, a credit to the young couple who run it. The facilities and the surrounding areas are immaculate and they are forever cleaning the site. Quirky displays around the site are unusual and add fun to the stay.
Will definitely be returning in the future.

I owe this campsite and its owners a big apology I was booked to stay on opening day. On the day before my arrival they contacted me to say that there was an imminent risk of flooding and I could nor stay They said I could apply for a refund of my deposit. I contacted them many times but got no reply. I contacted ASCI but got no reply. In frustration I posted a review to the effect that I did not get a refund I did later, they had been dealing with flooding. I apologise.

The campsite cancelled my booking due to imminent flooding. No problem with that. They asked me to contact them for a refund of my deposit. I asked for a refund to my original payment method. They seem unable or unwilling to do so. Now I\'m not getting any reply to e mails. I would have just expected them to apologise for cancelling ( which they did) and issue a refund for the deposit for my stay and tell me its done. Now I\'m having to chase them up without success.

This site is immaculate with great toilet and shower facilities. There are little added touches all around the site making great ambiance. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Great location very close to Vouvray and the loire cycle path. Rated only a 2 star site but you get a 5+ star reception. Pitches are a good size with privacy yet a small site giving peace and tranquility.
