Stayed 4 nights, site shared with workers in chalets bused in late Sunday night (very noisy) workers get up for work early and arrived back 6/7pm by fleet of mini buses. Would not stay again. Site in tired condition.

We stayed here in September when things were running down for the end of the season so no cafe etc. The pitch was OK although I had to ask for one on the perimeter as we have a large dog - the pitch initially offered was awful, an odd shape right opposite the reception cabin in the middle of the site. The toilet block is a bit shabby and several of the toilets had faulty flush buttons so you can imagine the outcome, although the showers were fine with plenty of hot water. Although described as being on the Loire à Vélo route, you either had to take your life in your hands crossing a very busy road junction or cycle for 15 minutes to a crossing point, to get to it. Road noise was an issue, the road is above the level of the site so the sound travelled to the other side where we were - I wouldn’t have been able to sleep if we’d been in one of the pitches adjacent to the road. Bread was available to order from reception and bilingual staff were helpful. (Also of note, at this point the cycle path does not run adjacent to the river).

Used this site as a stopover for a couple of nights, made very welcome by madam. The site is easily accessible from main roads or autoroute. Shower block could do with being redecorated, but they were clean with lots of very hot water. Some pitches would have plenty of shade in summer in the wooded area. Children have a huge inflatable slide and a large field to play on.

Very pleasant site owners who are helpful, speak english and are polite. Good stopover site worth a few days to visit Tours etc. Toilet facilities could do with being updated but clean.Nice site if you have a dog with a large nature on the river Liore park half a mile away. I would return to this site.

Stayed here for two nights. close to a busy road but road noise not an issue as quiet at night. Lovely park about 15 minutes walk away on the banks of the Loire. Tours close. Basic facilities as expected at this time of year. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

Good location by the Loire River with a beautiful walk into Tours along the riverbank. Good site with spacious pitches nestling in wooded area. Good facilities and a rustic feel. Friendly welcoming staff with good English spoken. Dog friendly. Large supermarket within easy walking distance.

Travelling party: Couple

Lovely site. Directions not helpful, several road signs missing. Great pitch but road noise is an issue. Sun gets very hot with little breeze so go for a pitch with a bit of shade. Cycle ‘Loire a Velo’ route a bit disappointing as not much was beside the river. Staff helpful and spoke good English.

We used this as an overnight stop. Friendly welcome, site is up to three star standard . Only downsides were the road noise from a busy road next to the site and it was difficult to dump grey water in our motorhome. An English couple in the pitch adjacent to ours had their bikes stolen in Tours.
The site security and some neighbourhood watch signs around the village suggested it was best to make sure all your valuables were secure!

Travelling party: Seniors

Did not see this site at its best due to the weather being wet and dull. There appeared to have lots of things to do for the children in high season. A good stop over to visit Tours and to rest on your journey elsewhere. Worth mentioning is that the toilet block is heated.

Susannah Hudson, on this campsite in October 2017

Nice pitches surrounded by trees. Some road noise but not intrusive. Showers and toilets heated, separate for male/female, had seats, loo paper and soap, good hot water supply. Problem with hot water in washing up area, very inconsistent and sometimes cold. Good stopover location or for Loire valley, Tours. Couldn't get bread for morning in October.
