Travelling party: Couple

Don’t be put off by first appearance. There are a number of statics near the entrance and the site looks tired - but it is the end of October. This is a lovely little site near to many chateau on the Loire. The staff and extremely polite and helpful and the facilities are spotlessly clean. The pitches are flat and easily accessible, although the grass is patchy. There are also fresh herbs growing near reception. There is a Boulanger in easy walking distance.

Travelling party: Seniors

Very busy but perfectly situated campsite near chateaux, lots of cyclists and families. The pitches are small and close together but fine. Toilet facilities could have been cleaner but it was fine as a Saturday night/Sunday morning stopover.

Travelling party: Couple

First impressions very poor, looked like barron wasteland. Poor reception, tiniest postcard size map of site, couldn't read print. Charged me money which was their advertised price so did not give me any acsi discount. Peripheral fence only wire so no privacy from the road behind. No bar or snacks or shop. Good sanitary block but not worth the money.

Travelling party: Couple

Came for one night and stayed longer as its so pleasant and well situated. Level pitches and only a stroll to the Loire river

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed for 3 nights, a lovely site, we were offered our choice of pitch on arrival, excellent sanitaire with toilet paper provided (outside cubicle), water and drainage on pitch. Very friendly staff with well spoken English, great area for cycling and visiting Chateaus, cycle routes were well signposted, some on roads but very quiet.

Travelling party: Couple

Excellent site, although new and will improve when the trees and shrubs grow. The welcome was excellent by a friendly man. Facilities very clean and showers lovely and warm. Pitch was good size and of dried grass after a hot summer. Lovely pool, excellent cycling , mainly on cycle routes on roads and amazing Chateaux within easy reach. Will be back.

Travelling party: Couple

An excellent place to stay in a very interesting area. The sanitaire was exceptionally good. The pitches are level but a bit boring as the hedges/shrubs are very small as it must be a relatively new campsite. The boulangerie in the village is excellent. We only came as a stopover, but will return for a longer stay and use our bikes.

Travelling party: Couple

Nice site well situated for cycling and cycle paths. Could easily cycle to at least 3 chateaux. Town of Langrais is really nice as is Azay le Rideau. (excellent Italian ice cream shop). Site rather 'open' whilst shurbs mature, but otherwise fine. Super tolet block.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed here for 1 night on way south. Excellent heated showers and toilets. Obviously nothing else open as its their winter times. Walked a short distance to the Loire river and had coffee in a local bar/cafe. Bet it's beautiful in the summer
