Travelling party: Seniors

Easily accessed site, friendly, multilingual staff, the city is easily accessed and supermarket nearby.

Nothing to add to what other reviews have already said. Great site for visiting Borges that is a 15 minute walk from site. All facilities are adequate and clean. It is easily found and is mainly a stop over for visiting Borges. Would certainly use again if was in the area.

Travelling party: Couple

Site close to interesting town ( about 20min walk). Cycle routes starting from the site along the river. Fairly busy transit site but quiet considering proximity to road and town.

Travelling party: Seniors

Great site lovely staff excellent location for site seeing, definitely be back next year and will stay longer than the one night stopover.

Travelling party: Couple

A good site 15 minutes walk from historic Bourges. Good access off a main road but minimal traffic noise on most pitches. Large level open hardstanding pitches in centre of site. Hedged pitches with more shade around the perimeter. Would return.

Travelling party: Seniors

Nicely situated site with very good facilities. Nice to have a heated shower block in October! Used as a stop over on way home - this was or first time at this site but it won’t be our last.

Travelling party: Seniors

Phoned to reserve a pitch and you have to go thru an agent which you are charged €10 booking fee. Not acceptable.
Good flat hardstanding\'s - mainly used for one night stop. Easy to walk to town centre. Toilet/shower facilities separate but water in shower just warm - need adjusting. No privacy although little hedge around each of the two pitches but other campers think they can walk through instead of using the road.

Catherine Hartley, on this campsite in September 2018

Travelling party: Couple

Well maintained site on the edge of town. Good heated and very clean (twice daily cleaning) toilet and shower block (toilet paper provided). Efficient staff but not very chatty probably as only staying one night. Pitches without hedges or demarcation and suite small Quiet in spite of proximity to main road. Perfect for a stopover or visit to Bourges. We will use it again.

Travelling party: Seniors

Tried to phone to reserve a pitch for 3 nights but the tel. no is through a booking agent which charged me Booking Fee. This is not acceptable. I am a ACSI member. Will not ever go to any site which is through an agent - so beware if you need to book a reservation. Reasonable site but water in showers too cold and some filthy camper left the toilet in a most disgusting filthy state. Shame on you.

Travelling party: Couple

Ideal site for visiting Bourges and its cathedral. Very disappointed that there was no pool despite being advertised (we arrived in temperatures of 30C and we were looking forward to cooling down in the pool!). Pitches vary from very open ones to those with hedges. Interesting museum for the ‘Resistance and Deportation’ just 20 minute walk from the site. Toilets and showers very clean. Definitely worth a couple of nights stay to visit historical Bourges.
