The campsite is located just outside Saulieu. A footpath takes you to the centre. Lovely spacious pitches with sun or shade. Plenty of sports opportunities. Countless cycling and walking routes and a large swimming pool to cool off in. Saulieu is renowned for its many good restaurants.

Travelling party: Couple

Well maintained campsite with a variety of pitches and plenty of space. Pitches are mainly not contained within hedges but are a good size so was not a problem.
Toilets and showers very clean. Snack bar was good value for a range of snack type meals.
We visited Dijon and Troyes with 1hr and 2hr drive respectively the latter was well worth it with an abundance of medieval houses and driving through beautiful countryside on good roads.

Travelling party: Couple

We initially intended to stay for 7 nights but cut the stay short after discovering the lake next to the campsite had a Leptospirosis, (Weil's disease), warning notice at its entrance. We had asked at reception if the lake was OK for our dog to swim in and were told yes. Reception pretended not to know anything about this when asked for comment. The shower floors also had a life threatening slope to allow for drainage. Pity about the above as we had a large shady pitch and we're just settling in.
