Travelling party: Couple

A nice quiet site next to the River Saone. Sanitaries are dated but good, toilets have seats and toilet paper! The restaurant is ok, food is basic but cheap. Worth walking 15 mins into town, would especially recommend Bistro La Cotinière.
Pitches get allocated to you so no choice and only 3 or 4 are river facing. Long electric cable recommended and 2 pin adaptor required. Bread available to order. Staff all very friendly and ACSI price is very good value.

Friendly welcome, nice site but pitch a bit muddy (towards end of season).
Toilets/Showers a bit dated but clean & functional.
Nice walking by river.
Didn't eat at restaurant but the menu looked really nice and would have tempted me if I were staying longer than one night.

really friendly welcome - handshakes all round - superb pitch facing the Saône river. Restaurant is good value and full of locals and the showers are warm and clean. Altogether a happy stay!

The site has a great location, right next to the beautiful River Saone and only about ten minutes walk into the town of St Jean de Losne. We were lucky and had a riverside pitch. Good electricity supply and new Motorhome service area. Only small downside was that hose for filling water tank was the same as that for cleaning the toilet cassette but there are other taps around the site. There is a cafe on-site which is popular with locals and campers, at very reasonable prices. Lots of other restaurants in town. Nice walking along the river and also along the nearby Canal de Bourgogne. Very reasonable ACSI price of 12 euro Inc electricity. Would recommend, felt peaceful and safe.

  • From A36, exit 1 Seurre. Then D976 towards St. Jean-de-Losne. Follow campsite signs. Clearly visible from the roundabout near the water tower. Do not follow GPS with large caravan or motorhome coming from direction Dole.
