Travelling party: Couple

This is a well managed site with nice large emplacements with plenty of shade. There is only one fresh water tap and that is at the camping car service point a considerable distance from a lot of emplacements. The tap is placed only a 1.5metres away from the chemical disposal point and next to the waste water dump, not very hygienic. The pool looked OK but we didn't use it due to the amount of children on site. There is a small supermarket within walking distance of the site. I found cycling to be good on the quiet traffic free side roads. On our last night on site we experienced a huge thunder/lightning storm which brought down quite a few trees and branches, there were some very narrow escapes for a lot of campers.

Travelling party: Couple

Cannot book through ACSI. Why is this? We had to book through their website, which meant we couldn't use ACSI discount. On arrival at the site, there were plenty of pitches and the person in front of us hadn't booked. They used their ACSI card and were offered the ACSI discount. I asked the person on the desk why we couldn't use ACSI discount, she told me because we booked through the website, you can only use ACSI card discount if you turn up. I feel cheated and would not recommend this site.

super site and one of the best we have stayed on. Large pitches with plenty of shade or open sunlight. Swimming lake next to site and nice pool on site. Friendly reception concerned to find a shady pitch for us in current heat wave. Shopping 5 minutes walk .
