Located south of the Vilaine estuary, a few hundred metres from the sea. Good, almost level area for walking and cycling. Pénestin has a special beach by an 8-metre-high sandstone wall due to erosion and a safe coarse sandy beach. Reception closed between 12 and 3 pm.

Travelling party: Couple

Pitched here in late August as ACSI rate started early. We were allocated a difficult to access pitch on the edge of the site. We were allowed to move pitch as there were others available. We were the only English & it felt uncomfortable. It was different to get. ‘Bonjour’ from other campers. Good location for beach, cycling and town. Pool was outstanding. ACSI price excellent.
