Great site with friendly, helpful welcome; choice of pitches in early July (some areas with hedges immaculately kept, others left naturally, so the choice is yours). Excellent new outdoor pool with great slides, loungers and new shower facilities. About 30 min walk to La Trinité-sur-Mer port with numerous eateries. Highly recommend this site and we will return. Ideal size with plenty of amenities but still with a cosy, relaxed feel.
The site is well situated and well kept
Our only criticism is that they close the toilet and shower block before 8 pm leaving just ‘overnight ‘facilities of 1 toilet and 1 shower and the same in the pool/bar area. There are no notices to say that this will happen and the bar staff seemed mystified. This is unacceptable
The site is very well located for walking down into La Trinite sur Mer which is about a 20 minute walk through pleasant surroundings. The site has lively big pitches nicely separated by well kept hedges, at this time of year you are given free pitch selection. The sanitary facilities are excellent and kept very clean at all times. The indoor and outdoor pools are very attractive and practical with the nice addition of a jacuzzi in 5he indoor pool area. I can’t comment on the takeaway facility as I haven’t used it. The reception is very friendly and efficient and has the facility to pre-order bread and pastries for the following morning. There is also a small grocery shop attached to the reception which carries all the basic supplies. There are 2 WiFi options one free and one paid, I didn’t use the free option but I can say that certainly whilst the site is fairly quite the paid for option is excellent with perfectly adequate bandwidth for all uses, I have streamed live tv and used it for the likes of FaceTime. Overall I have no hesitation in recommending this site.
Arrived to a very friendly welcome, staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful, we were given a choice of pitches and had a service pitch at no extra cost. Some of the pitches would be a bit tight to get in and out of when the sight is busy but it was very quiet when we were there, had it almost to ourselves apart from at the weekend when it filled up with locals. Good toilet fascilities with toilet paper but the chemical waste disposal was not great, it improved towards the end of our stay, some things not open as early season. Loads to see in the area, the lovely harbour in the town and fascinating megaliths at Carnac, windsurfing and kite surfing, great for cycling and only a short walk in to the town. Good swimming pool and 30 mins free wifi daily near the bar or you could buy a daily/ weekly pass. A Carrefour in the town which was quite pricey but a good choice of others within about 5/10 minute drive. Auray and port st Gustav well worth a visit, steeped in history and some lovely old buildings in cobbled streets.
We arrived to be greeted by friendly staff with good English & offered our choice of pitch as the site was very quiet . Some of the pitches have recently been doubled in size & were fully serviced at no extra charge. Good dog walking designated area on the NW corner of the site with a path to a small Monolithic site only 300m away. The toilets & showers were immaculate & cleaned several times a day. If you want a site that is quiet in early June with good access to this area this is the one.
We stopped just before the site closed for winter and had the site virtually to ourselves. Swimming pool and slides were very good. The sanitary facilites were OK with good showers. Pitches were quite large and well spaced. Close to Trinite sur Mer which is a charming place to visit. We enjoyed our 4 days here.
