Good reception although they do adhere to 12pm to 3:30 pm lunch closure. Car park reasonable size to park up and wait. On route back to Roscoff really quiet site with clean facilities. Impressed with large pitches. Stayed 3 nights very pleasant but winding down so pool etc shut but not required by us. Site does not have a bar or restaurant but only a short stroll into village. Excellent 3 nights stopover. Will use again but probably for Camping Card so off season.
I was nearly put off by the stringent security arrangements when I checked in. But once registered (and wrist-banded), the site and surrounding area proved to be great. The pool and facilities block and campervan service point are all spotlessly clean. Generous sized grassed pitch (this is allocated on arrival - but I’d have chosen the one I was given anyway). The dog walk area extends to a couple of acres and dogs even have their own shower area. Damgan, a 10 min walk, has a nice pedestrianised Centre with a good variety of shops (including a decent supermarket) and eateries. The long half moon beach is 5 mins walk and there are plenty of bike routes and walking trails to explore the bay. What’s not to like?
Small pitch, high hedges, very noisy disco bass thump till very late, great for some not for us thank you. Over rated. 23.22 now and still going!!
Fantastic site. So tranquil. Close to the beach and town. Office staff were wonderfully helpful. Dog walking area was massive. All facilities were first class. Great swimming pool for adults and a small one for children. Showers always hot and toilets very clean. Although we were only here for a few days it has left a lasting impression on us. We will definitely be returning
Stayed for 2 nights end of June.Nice big grass pitches which are allocated on arrival.Electric on pitches, some have water as well.Friendly staff.Nice covered heated pool with seperate small pool with slides.Pool was nice when we could get in but generally overrun with kids.No bar.Nice town with bars and restaurants/shops.Nice walks and cycle routes.Small shower block which was mixed which I am not a fan of.Would stay again.
This is a very well kept site, it's obvious that the owners are working very hard to keep everything up to the mark.
Indeed, it is hard to criticise anything. I was impressed with reception, jolly and meticulous at the same time!
One thing strange - we had to wear wristbands during our stay to show that we were residents! - never had that before!
I would definitely return.
