Found on ACSI app and called site. Pitch was reserved without any deposit and charged on arrival with 2 dogs. Large pitches with hedges surrounding. Lovely heated pool, bar and restaurant serving food and drinks. Superb friendly staff. Only 1 night stay so didn\'t get to enjoy all facilities. Would return to this site.
A really nice site, in fact a little gem. Customer service excellent. I e-mailed about a pitch at very short notice. Reply very prompt and they reserved me a pitch with no deposit. A very friendly and helpful staff nothing was to much trouble and you felt as though they really welcomed you!
We found this a charming site with easy access from the motorway - the owners/staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent toilet block and showers (new 2015), as previous review I would suggest finding a pitch before driving onto the site. We would certainly consider returning sometime again.
What can I say about this site. Ideally situated. within walking distance of the village and the usual facilities. A very well maintained site, toilet facade excellent, the gents urinals are in the same area as the female facilities but not really a problem whatsoever. The toilets are clean. showers are clean what more can you ask for!! Bread can be ordered daily from reception. A well maintained site, an ideal stopover or for a longer stay.We will certainly stop here again without hesitation.
We stayed here three nights in the Campervan. This was just before the end of our holiday and there was a fuel shortage.so we picked a campsite with potential for cycling in the area. It was lovely. It was quite quiet as it was low season. Pitches are very well screened and a good size. Staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a snack bar which serves lovely snacks and meals. There is also a bar where we enjoyed local cider served in the traditional China cups. The campsite also has ducks and goats, and a variety of sporting activities for adults and children. Facilities were excellent. We enjoyed cycling along the canal, which is easily accessible from the campsite. There are also excellent cycle routes to and from the village and around the surrounding parks and area. We would stay here again.
A lovely site with one major flaw. The toilet and shower block is unisex, which isn\'t necessarily an issue, except in this case, it is necessary to walk past the men\'s urinals to get to the showers and toilet. I personally think these urinals should be screened off - especially when there are families with youngsters having to walk past the urinals.
Have just spent a very enjoyable 7 days at this site. Lovely site with some very large pitches. Staff very welcoming and helpful at this site. Toilet/Shower block very clean. Super U in nearby Tinteniac a short 5 min drive away with a service station. My one tip would be if you are towing leave caravan and do a walk around for a pitch as some of the pitches are on a dead end road and if these are not suitable you have to reverse out. Several have had to do this during our stay including ourselves. Will be returning to this little gem again.
Friendly, helpful welcome. Second day of opening for the season and pitches were all well mown and tidy. Very quiet, we were the only touring van on site!
