What a joy it was to arrive at this campsite! We had originally booked a three night stay but we were so impressed with the warmth of the welcome, the excellent facilities, the snack bar with home-made pizzas, the well laid out large pitches, the swimming pools (one outdoor, one heated indoor), that we ended up staying for 10 nights. A delightful, quiet, sandy, shell-laden beach was reached via a secure private gate from the campsite and was just a short, flat 250 yard walk through fields and woodlands. Add to this the stunning location which was a pleasant, flat walk in the village/port of Sainte Marine full of delightful little bide-a-while cafes and the obligatory French Market which is held every Wednesday morning. Across the harbour is the town of Benodet which could be reached by a little ferry which departs every 15 minutes or so and at just a couple of euros each way is well worth the trip.

One of the better campsites we stayed at! Met by a friendly face although she couldn’t speak English we managed to communicate. Due to the site not being too busy we had a wide choice of pitches. The indoor and outdoor pools were very good.
Excellent access to the fantastic beach which was less than 10mins walk. It was a pity the ferry from Sainte-Marine to Benodet had closed on the day we arrived but with the car we did visit. The Sainte-Marine village by the Odet river was quite quaint.
