A warm welcome by Isabelle and Yannick Trouplin on their beach campsite with views of Camaret. Sandy beaches, ochre-coloured rocks, abundant greenery and small towns nearby. The views of Crozon are unique. Several boat trips possible. With a lovely heated indoor pool.

Lovely site with great sea views and right beside a beautiful beach. There is a scenic coastal path in to Camaret from just outside the site. Facilities very good and well maintained. The owners, Yannick and Isabelle, are very friendly and helpful and it is they who make this site different to most others. Isabelle cooks Crepes and Chips in the evening to eat in or take away and freshly baked baguette and croissants in the morning. One morning we were very late going to collect our baguette and it had been sold, but 20 minutes later Isabelle called to our van with one which she had baked specially for us. You can't beat that for service. We were there for Mother's Day and she showed anyone who wanted to participate how to cook a delicious strawberry gateau. We even got to make small ones ourselves under her guidance. Yannick does a free guided tour in the area if he has at least 6 people. Normally he does it on foot but as there were only 5 of us on the Thursday we were there he took his car and one of the others brought one also. Yannick brought us to some of the Vauban fortifications on the peninsula and was a fount of knowledge about the history of the area. It was a wonderful afternoon.
The Crozon Peninsula is a must if you are in Brittany, the scenery is superb and Camping Trez Rouz is a great base from which to explore it.
planned to stay four nights but ended up staying for 7. great campsite, with loads of things to do in the area. good pool, with the owner constantly monitoring for, and evicting unaccompanied children. my kids (always accompanied!) really enjoyed the pool, desire it having no waterslides.
loads to do in the area, walking, cycling, beaches, markets, towns.......
large Carrefour five minutes in the car.
pitches range from shady to full sun and if you appreciate silence at night then this is the place. pretty level throughout the site to so no issues getting your unit set up.
will definitely be back.
also, their frites are delicious.
What a little gem ! Friendly staff, gorgeous fresh bread, croissants and pains au chocolat baked on the premises. Great choice of pitches , some with sea views. Just across the road from a fantastic beach. A cliff top path into town, about 50 minutes walk, with a good choice of restaurants.
We’d like to stay for longer than 3 nights, which is unusual for us, but we have to be elsewhere.
We’ll come back here again!
We liked this site. Very friendly owners. Got by with a bit of French, a bit of English, and a lot of smiles. Super new heated pool and showers etc. 50m from a pebbly/sandy beach. 10mins drive from Camaret sur Mer. Looked good for food. We just enjoyed walking around. For the super fit, lots of coast path walks.
I can\'t recommend this site highly enough. It is in a truly lovely location opposite a beautiful beach and a very nice indoor swimming pool if the sea is not warm enough. The little town of Camaret is a lovely 2 mile walk away over the cliffs. The coastal scenery near Camaret is stunning. Be sure to eat Moules et Frites washed down with Breton cider when you get back to camp. A Brittany highlight.
'Loved it' stayed for five nights -wished it was longer it is in the most pleasant way 'rustic peaceful and very friendly' toilet shower facilities very good with lots of hot water.. Though in motorhome it was easy quick to get to local supermarket and to local beauty spots. Beach just cross non busy road - will visit again
We loved this site. Rather unkempt and scruffy but charming. Great location right next to a gorgeous beach.
this site is in a great location across a quite road from a lovely beach. The swimming pool is a good size and kept very clean. The only problem with the Sanitaire was black flies. The owners are very friendly and have fresh bread etc every morning.
There\'s lots to see and visit locally and in June it\'s fairly quiet.
The only problem with our visit was the low helicopter flying. There is naval academy nearby so we assume they were practising. OK in the day, but not from midnight to 2am at 100m. Earplugs were not enough.
This is an area we enjoyed visiting, on a lovely campaote with qwlxoming hosts but unless we could be sure about the military activity, we won\'t be back.
Beautiful location with friendly staff. Site very tired at end of season and in need of a good tidy up. 2 mile Walk/cycle ride to village with plenty of restaurants and small super U down the first side street on the left as you enter port.
The location of this site is superb with a beautiful beach just over the lane and the coastal path to Camaret is an easy walk of 3k. The site itself looked a bit tired and scruffy and distinctly pongy around the chemique and toilet block, which with only a few toilets was busy even at this quiet time of the season. I can imagine having to queue for a loo when the site is busy. The indoor heated pool is lovely and we really enjoyed our swim after walking the coastal path. The owners are very obliging and the snack bar and little shop most useful. The sound of arms fire from the military zone nearby was a bit alarming for a quiet rural beach area. The pitches were very variable but plenty of space.
