Stayed here on our 4 week four of Brittany, we stayed 4 nights but could have stayed longer. Easy access to both town and the beach. The walk into town takes about 15 mins with the beach slightly less which is also a joining point for the coastal walk. Market day is Monday. The old walled town is a must to visit. The pitches on the campsite are of a decent size with shared water between 2 pitches and easy access to the electrical outlet. At reception is a small shop for essential items and you can order bread etc for the following morning. Bar and restaurant are very clean and reasonably priced. Showering and toilet facilities are shared with push button operated showers. Will certainly stay here again without doubt, highly recommended.
lovely site, 10 to 15 minute walk away from concarneau. Only complaint is the WiFi was rubbish where I was camped. That said, as it was low season, the receptionist said I could change plots if I liked when they became vacant, but I was too lazy to pack everything up for that, as I only stayed 3 nights.
Great site. Easy access to town and beach. Nice bar and restaurant. Good facilities. Pleasant staff. Great views from the terrace. We had a great
4 night stay.
A very busy site convenient my located IN Concarneau. The site states it is in the countryside - it most certainly is not. It is in the town.
Helpful friendly staff. One piece of advice is if you are planning on staying on a Friday or Saturday night get a pitch well away from the children\'s play area. parents seem to dump their kids there in unsupervised whilst they get drunk in the bar.
An excellent campsite. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us when we had a problem. The site and pitches are well kept with water and electric on/near each pitch. The facilities are good but mixed sex, not problem for us but which may bother some people. Great pool. Small children's play area. Good terrace restaurant bar which was a little pricey but had a beautiful view over the bay. Easy 1.5 km walk into the town. Will return here without a doubt.
We found access into the site was quite tight for some of the motorhomes and caravans in our group. We had pitches in the rear of the site and manoevering on the site to get to the pitches and onto the pitch is difficult due to the small size of the access roads and some of the pitches. Site is located close to town and the reception and bar area is modern and well situated for views over the town and towards the sea. Toilets and showers were generally pretty good. When wet (as it was when were there) the pitches soon became waterlogged and very soft with little (if any) drainage.
We loved this campsite - great facilities, good restaurant, bakery to order, free WiFi, walk/cycle into Concarneau, friendly staff, warm, clean washblock with toilet paper and seats! Pitches not huge, but we had a sea view. Definitely on our list to return to!
We chose this site for a one night stop over so wanted all amenities on hand, this we had but what an awful, over busy, cramped site. We found it with difficulty, and parked as requested in the arrivals bay, but then couldn't get through gate without backing up, difficult when others arriving back from day out behind us.The roads between the pitches are only the width of a car the pitches so small that if an awning was up the vehicle had to be parked along the front edge causing more manovering problems for others. Fortunately we had help placing the caravan, had to be done by pushing it in as not room to turn in with car, great trouble towing out next day. Showers cold and toilets by 6pm needed to be cleaned. We shall not visit this site again.
Just what we were looking for! Great location with walks into Concarneau, good size pitches, helpful staff, amazing pool and lovely bar ... Perfect long weekend location.....
This is an excellent site for visiting Concarneau with its (rather touristy) medieval wall town which is about a half hour walk away. The site overlooks the beach and some pitches have a sea view but we chose a pitch away from this area as it was very crowded and there was some noise from the building site opposite. Our pitch therefore didn't have the sea view but was a very good size and in a quieter part of the site. There is a lovely outdoor pool and the toilet and shower facilities were very good and clean. There is a restaurant on site but we didn't try it so can't comment. Directly from the site are lovely woods excellent for dog walking. The only comment we would make is that narrow access through some of the side roads and onto the site could prove a challenge for wider vehicles.
