We were very lucky to get a pitch on this site, and we were not expecting it to be so busy. Our welcome buy the receptionist was very friendly and after checking in was told to walk around and pick a pitch and report back. Of the 8 pitches available only 4 were big enough for our 7.5 m caravan. On most pitches you will need levelling blocks, a Motor Mover would also be an advantage. As has been said in other reviews the Beach and Town are quite close and we found the walk along the headland very nice. The Bar and Restaurant didn\'t seem to have much of a menu but the little Café/ Restaurant on the roundabout at the end of the road did. Because the weather was so good we stayed 2 weeks and would stay again. My advice would be to book or call ahead as this is a very popular Campsite.
Panoramic outlook from lovely pool..easy walk into town and down hill onto beach
Easy to find alone Cote signs West of town.Stunninp and and nice jCuzi eith sea view.
Toilets mainly modern.
Concarneau interesting small town with Ville Close\'.Beach open lots of rocks pools and seaweed at low tide.
15 mins walk direct down path not road..but at first not easy to follow. At bottom of hill stay on path until steps..go past all path track junctions until steps on rhs cross through parking until path takez hou up hill past scholl play /sports centre
Cross road into car park with height barriers..then loom for green cycle track passing over residential road into what looks like old railway track..under arches and eventually emerge by harbour
or..follow coast to centre lovely walk on edge of sea mostly..but takes 40 mins.
Lovely site location and pool..will be back!
Stayed for 2 nights (fri/sat), nice site with good facilities. Bar and restaurant open in may, unlike other sites we’ve stayed at. It was a busy weekend with a cycle event in town but it was still quiet overnight. We would definitely recommend this site in its own right, not just for its proximity to Concarneau.
The site is in the town but in residential surroundings. The walk into walled town centre is really more than 15 mins provided you can follow the not so clear directions on the map provided. We got lost as did others we met en route. Otherwise not much to fault here. Well recommended.
Stayed here on our 4 week four of Brittany, we stayed 4 nights but could have stayed longer. Easy access to both town and the beach. The walk into town takes about 15 mins with the beach slightly less which is also a joining point for the coastal walk. Market day is Monday. The old walled town is a must to visit. The pitches on the campsite are of a decent size with shared water between 2 pitches and easy access to the electrical outlet. At reception is a small shop for essential items and you can order bread etc for the following morning. Bar and restaurant are very clean and reasonably priced. Showering and toilet facilities are shared with push button operated showers. Will certainly stay here again without doubt, highly recommended.
lovely site, 10 to 15 minute walk away from concarneau. Only complaint is the WiFi was rubbish where I was camped. That said, as it was low season, the receptionist said I could change plots if I liked when they became vacant, but I was too lazy to pack everything up for that, as I only stayed 3 nights.
Great site. Easy access to town and beach. Nice bar and restaurant. Good facilities. Pleasant staff. Great views from the terrace. We had a great
4 night stay.
A very busy site convenient my located IN Concarneau. The site states it is in the countryside - it most certainly is not. It is in the town.
Helpful friendly staff. One piece of advice is if you are planning on staying on a Friday or Saturday night get a pitch well away from the children\'s play area. parents seem to dump their kids there in unsupervised whilst they get drunk in the bar.
An excellent campsite. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us when we had a problem. The site and pitches are well kept with water and electric on/near each pitch. The facilities are good but mixed sex, not problem for us but which may bother some people. Great pool. Small children's play area. Good terrace restaurant bar which was a little pricey but had a beautiful view over the bay. Easy 1.5 km walk into the town. Will return here without a doubt.
We found access into the site was quite tight for some of the motorhomes and caravans in our group. We had pitches in the rear of the site and manoevering on the site to get to the pitches and onto the pitch is difficult due to the small size of the access roads and some of the pitches. Site is located close to town and the reception and bar area is modern and well situated for views over the town and towards the sea. Toilets and showers were generally pretty good. When wet (as it was when were there) the pitches soon became waterlogged and very soft with little (if any) drainage.
