Travelling party: Couple

Visited the site for a one night stop over, found the English owners very helpful, great toilet facilities though dated but very clean, and the toilets are a decent height not them where you are almost sat on the floor. Walked into town along canal lovely only spoilt by the piles of dog mess on the path. Very well located for days out and peaceful at night.

Travelling party: Couple

A beautifully maintained campsite with large spacious pitches. Situated by the side of a canal with a footpath into Chateaulin, about 20 minutes walk. English owners very helpful. Toilet facilities a bit dated but very well kept, plenty of hot water - loo seats and paper and soap for washbasins. Free wifi which can be accessed from motorhome. For those people travelling with dogs on the way back to the ferry we found vets in the town who only charged for two and we had our own tablets. Ask owners for details. Thoroughly recommend this site

Pleasant campsite where you are made very welcome by your English hosts Julie & Marcus. Easy 20 min walk into lovely town of Chateaulin. Good dog walking along canal path, nice clean shallow sections if your dog likes a dip. Free wifi throughout site. There are tall trees around site that block satellite reception on some pitches.

What a great site, good position. The site is well maintained. Friendly owners very helpful. The area is very interesting with lots sites to see. I would happily visit again.

Travelling party: Seniors

This is a lovely friendly site in beautiful green surroundings. We had a pitch right by the stream and at night all you could hear was the stream and the owls hooting in the nearby wood. The shower block is kept spotlessly clean and although quite old has everything you need. Plenty of hot water and we really appreciated the extra touches such as soap and hand towels in the washing cubicles.

Travelling party: Couple

We spent a lovely relaxing week at this beautiful campsite. It is set amongst mature trees and next to the river giving it a truly rural feel but still in easy walking distance of the pretty town of Chatealin. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed the crepe night they put on.

Nice clean site with very helpful owners. Sanitary block a bit dated but clean. Nice and handy for cycle rides along the canal with easy access to chateaulin.

The proprietors were extremely welcoming and helpful, answering all my questions about the surrounding area, places to eat and drink, etc. Many facilities were supplied e.g. hire of a barbecue, bicycles and a trailer for same. Also, fresh eggs from their own chickens and salad vegetables were for sale, and a bread order could be placed in the evening and the goods collected before 9 the next morning, which was very welcome.
All in all, I enjoyed my stay here very much. Although the site was child friendly, it was also very peaceful. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a place to stay in this part of Brittany.

A gem of a campsite. This is a hidden jewel. The campsite is beautifully planted with generous sized private pitches in a lovely corner of finistere. The campsite has chickens so you can buy fresh eggs for a breakfast. A short walk along the banks of the beautiful River Aulne takes you to Chateaulin - a typically lovely small French market town. It has some really great little restaurants and a lively market on Thursday. Staying here has been the highlight of my holiday.
