We have visited this site many times. I am delighted to say that there has been an improvement in the toilet block with regards to the ambient temperature. Also the water temperature. Thank you for making the changes. As always the site is clean and tidy, toilet block immaculate. The village is a pleasure to visit.
We’ve stayed here several times and it is a great position close to motorway but little road noise. Always a friendly welcome. Roomy pitches. I just don’t like the toilet block, it is dated, mixed use and who wants to wash up or prepare veg while someone is in the loo or emptying their chemical waste. The toilets and washrooms are grubby and on this visit the site was very busy and the toilets were quite disgusting. I have never seen anyone cleaning the toilets. Plus side at least the bar was open as was the pool which neither have been open on previous visits. Feels like they need to update the loos and get some cleaning staff. Always plenty of hot water.
Bad mannered reception staff, and asking to pay extra for rubbish disposal and 10a electricity is not acceptable. If the owner wants to maximise profit, then he shouldn\'t be advertising ACSI, which in my mind stands for good value and fuller pitches out of season.
Grumpy guy on reception , not at all welcoming. No choice of pitch offered .Blew the 5amp contacter immediately on arrival.
This is the very first ACSI site that we have had to pay for a 10amp. supply. The grumpy git had almost be pushed into coming to the pitch to upgade it . We had no problem with paying the Taxe de Sejour or the Wi-Fi , but objected to being forced to pay a charge for rubbish disposal .How much rubbish can two people create on an overnight stop ? We feel the owners are trying to maximise their profits with the extra charges.
Grumpy man in reception, toilets have no roof and are very cold when we was there ,had no power to our hookup when we arrived and was reluctant to sort it ,won't be going back
Clean and tidy as always, however showers/toilets cold and shower water runs on mean. Cost does not reflect the lack of comfort in the showers.
This is in a good location for an overnight stop as so close to the motorway but would not stay longer as I did not like the toilets and showers, not clean enough and dark.
Had a good three night stay, facilities were very clean and well kept and the pool was very welcome as the temperature was in the 30's. Pitches were spacious with some shade, although rather worn but it was very dry and the end of the season. The owner was helpful but did not always seem too friendly, perhaps it had been a long hot summer.
The gentleman on reception was extremely nice and spoke good English. The pitch was quite large but the hedges were too tall, but okay for one night. The nearby village is small but well worth a wander. Sanitary facilities very good.
We could not believe the off hand way we were spoken to by the man in the acceuil when we arrived. I can think of no word to describe him other than rude. He spoke rapid French and made no attempt to speak slowly to make it easier for us to understand him. The pitch was fine for a night stop but would not want to stay longer as the pitches were divided by very tall cuprous trees. The showers etc. were spotless clean with abundant hot water.
