This lovely and well run campsite with swimming pool, restaurant and beautiful mountain views is close to the village of Chambon-sur-Lac and 1 km from Lac Chambon. Plenty of walking and cycling trips possible in the beautiful Parc Naturel des Volcans.

Travelling party: Seniors

Lovely site with good sized pitches. Being the end of the season, not all of the site was being used but we liked the fact that it was so quiet! Toilet block was clean, though as usual - no toilet paper! Nice simple pool, but it closed while we were there! Food available, looked reasonable price but we didn\'t use the cafe. Would highly recommend.

The lady at reception was very helpful and friendly. As with others in France this site has suffered from heavy and continuous rain this year.
We were advised which pitches to avoid due to the wet. Eventually she was kind enough to let us have \'comfort plus\' pitch for the ACSI price. Unfortunately the pitches were sodden and, as rain was expected, we decided to move on after just one night.
This is a lovely little site well placed for walking in this well known walking area.
Only one toilet block was open at the time of our visit, the snck bar and the pool were not open.

A really nice site in an area which is great for walkers with excellent hikes direct from site. Owners are really friendly and helpful and facilities excellent. There is an associated low cost aire a short distance from the site.
