Not our favourite site, though Puy itself is fascinating.

Open plan spaces & in general a lot of shared space - pitches, toilets, showers. Mostly clean facilities.

Site is close to the town , about 10 to 15mins walk. it is a wooded site with reasonable sized pitches in plenty of shade. Toilet block is a bit old and tatty , the showers especially so.
Site was busy (we arrived when the Roi de l\'Oiseau medieval festival was on - which was great fun) so we were glad we booked online before arriving.
If you book online and show the ACSI card when you arrive they will charge the appropriate amount

For some reason we were placed on a tired, tatty pitch near reception, the advantage for us was free Wi-Fi. Other than the location near central Puy there’s little to commend this site. The showers were just off freezing and not very pleasant. The staff appeared rather bored and cleaning needed attention. It’s a 15 minute walk into stunning Puy old quarter so worth a few inconveniences.

Toilet facilities a little old but spotlessly clean. The managers of this site are very friendly, helpful and hard working. We came for 2 days but stayed for 10. Le Puy-En-Velay is in my opinion a must see destination with its historic buildings and light show.
