WARNING: There is no dedicated WC emptying point. The chemical toilets are emptied into the drain beneath the drinking water taps. The hoses for drinking water are also used to wash out the toilet tanks. The same hoses are left in the drain where the toilet has just been emptied.
The toilet and shower block is very old and scruffy. The showers are dark, cramped and not particularly clean. There are no points to attache the shower head to the wall.
The site itself is set in pleasant parkland with flowers and shrubs. The are no allocated pitches.
The rule for dogs to be kept on a lead, it is not enforced. I had to clear dog excrement off my pitch.
The WiFi signal is very poor.
The site is in a pleasant location and with new facilities, it could be very good.
The campsite is in a good location next to a river and on the edge of a small town, the gardener maintains the grounds very well, lots of flowers, shrubs and trees. There are lots of bird and insect sculptures dotted around which gives the place a quirky feel, however the pink tables and chair sets are dirty and the facility block leaves a lot to be desired, the waters hot there is toilet paper but they are cramped poorly lit and dirty. It\'s ok for a few days and it is peaceful but odd, it\'s cash only.
Quaint and quirky with a friendly welcome making quite a difference to the often indifferent attitudes on many sites. Well equipped sanitary block - basic but with loo paper, paper towels, soap and washing up liquid in the wash-up. The most fun toilet seats in France! Morning bread orders taken and free wifi. Quiet and restful - the site being pretty empty at the beginning of October. A restaurant in Pont d\'Abense but unfortunately did not have time to visit during our 2 night stay. Nice walk into Tardets but disappointed that it appeared half shut and nothing of interest there. If staying longer, it\'s probably a good site to explore the surrounding countryside.
This quaint site is well worth a visit. Although the toilet and shower facilities are a little old, they are very clean and well kept, with toilet paper, hairdryers and hand soap, in the washroom. In the washing up area, washing-up liquid and pan scrubs were there to use. You don\'t often get all these little touches. We will be going to this site again.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Madame is extremely welcoming and the whole site has a feminine touch (e.g. flowers painted on the toilet seats). There were only 2 vans on site and Madame let us use the facilities in the log cabins. There is a restaurant within a few hundred meters and 3 more across the bridge in Tardets, 20 minutes walk. The walk through the Gorges de Kakuetta (10 miles away) is spectacular.
A hidden gem that we found by accident. A very friendly welcome from Madame who also readily supplied us with cold drinks on our arrival. The large flat campsite has good shade provided by well-establised trees. Nice touches include tables/chairs dotted around the site and hand soap in the toilets. The toilet/shower facilities are a little dated although this pales into insignificance when the site is considered as a whole. Would definitely return.
A lovely friendly welcome from Madame. Quirky campsite well worth a visit in beautiful quiet area of the Pyrenees. Coloured tables and chairs dotted around the site with flowers and well kept pitches.
A very warm welcome flowers everywhere Hairdryers soap toilet paper and handtowels provided Near to Tardets a lovely town.
