Travelling party: Seniors

Stayed here as it is less than a mile walk into a nice small town. Staff really nice. An odd review this, during the day the adjacent sports facilities generate a dreadful racket. It seems everyone who turns up to play sports thinks the whole neighbourhood should be subjected to loud repetitive music from a portable boombox. At one point I went to take a look and couldn’t believe there was just one person in the pool but yep they had the obligatory sound machine on the side. This racket continued until 19.45 hours from different users of the facilities. I presume that’s the time the place closes. After that there was barely a sound to be heard and the site was lovely. This was a weekday and I don’t think it was a one-off. So there you have it, a right racket in the day but quiet and peaceful at night.

Travelling party: Seniors

Lovely peaceful site overlooking fields and trees. Birdlife wonderful with lots of woodpeckers, blue tits, wrens etc. Shared pitches with two campers divided by low hedges on hardstandings although needs re-gravelling with water and drainage. Toilets/showers need updating. Good walk to beautiful town, very picturesque with thermal pool close by.
Looks like the possibility of them adding more mobile homes which would spoil the views for the touring campers but in all enjoyed our stay mostly because you could walk into a beautiful town.
