Really pleased we decided to head through to Spain a different way and came upon this great campsite. Really friendly, family run, with shaded pitches near a stream in the lower section, and lovely big pitches with a wonderful view of the Pyrenees in the higher field. The landscaping, flowers and fruit trees make this a really attractive site, and the bar next to the swimming pool is perfect for catching the setting sun. The toilet/shower facilities were lovely and clean. Good walking and cycling in the area and the town is quite lively with bars, restaurant and shops. One we will return to again.

What a pity about the weather because this is a superb site with great amenities for all the family. A site that shows the owners care for their visitors and provide spotless facilities, plus sports/play areas along with beautifully laid out grounds. The village of Saint Jean Pied de Port 5 mins by car or an easy bicycle ride.

This campsite is typical French site, but the toilets and showers are the best we have encountered in France, they even have toilet seats and loo roll in cubicles. The town of St Jean pied de Port is a 5 min drive (15 minute cycle, which is fairly flat) which is very pretty with lots of shops and restaurants. The owners are very friendly and speak good English. Will definitely stay again when next in area.

Lovely family run campsite, very helpful, lent us s map and walking book for our stay. Clean and plentiful sanitary facilities. Lovely pitches surrounded by gardens, location looking towards mountains, town of St Jean Pied de Port well worth a visit

Beautifully maintained and cleaned facilities, wonderful views in a delightful area, and a most friendly and interesting warden who had time for his visitors.

Genuine friendly welcome from the owner. We chose our pitch and checked in when reception was open. Hot water, clean toilets and showers. RVery close to St Jean. Great walking and cycling possibilities in lovely countryside. We were there when it was 34 degrees and there was plenty of shade. I would return to this site again.

Lovely setting close St. Jean. Pleasant , helpful staff. Good facilities. Not too big. Wonder if the road noise would be intrusive in summer. Great area for touring & walking.

We stayed here one night in the Campervan. It was just a stop over place for us and the weather wasn't good so we didn't really see the area well. The owner was helpful. Facilities were good.

A lovely site with lots of flowers and very convenient for visiting the attractive, busy little town.
Reception is open for only an hour in the morning and again in the evening. The owner is very friendly and helpful and speaks good English.
Pitches are spacious with a good choice of shade or sun, woodland view or open views of the mountains.
The sanitary areas are very clean, some are heated.
The pool is heated and WiFi reception is good in the TV/games room.
Lots of lovely drives or good walking in the area and the town with its medieval area and castle are well worth a visit.
