Very nice site. The only problem is that it is very small so there is a good chance that it will be full. We were lucky in mid September and got the last space. The swimming pool and sanitaires are wonderful. Worth a visit just for that. I cycled to a large hypermarket but the hills are very steep here.

Delightful small site with very friendly staff and excellent facilities and pool area. Exit the site entrance and you have great sea views with cycle routes in both directions.

Quite a hilly walk or cycle into St Jean, takes about an hour. The site was very busy when we were there, and was full by evening. The swimming pool area is very good, but there are very few shops or restaurants nearby. The beach is just outside the campsite, but it is very rocky and not really for surfing. Toilets are clean, but no seats or paper let it down.

Good campsite and good location grass pitches close to beach, free WiFi, toilet and shower facilities very good. Used ACSI but wanted to charge extra for everything. Had to show him terms and conditions, he was going to phone ACSI as still did not agree.

Beautiful small campsite amongst a plethora of larger sites. Very warm welcome and superb facilities including new sanitaires, swimming pool and the best steam room I’ve experienced. Nice walk into St Jean de Luz along green route - part quiet road but mostly sentier. Will hopefully visit again.

We stayed here for 5 nights in mid/late October 2016. We had a comfort pitch very close to reception which seemed odd at first but we chose pitch 4 tucked up in the corner and it was lovely. Very friendly, jolly and helpful owner/manager. Not great English but we managed with sign language! The toilet block was very clean but basic. It looks as though they have permission to build a new facilities block plus a new pool over the winter.
The location was great. Set on a small hill top above a sandy beach with a couple of beach bars. All the beaches are great for surfing. St Jean de Luz is 4km away and is beautiful.
We have road bikes and cycled along paths for 15 miles to the Spanish border and also inland up some very steep climbs into the beautiful Pyrenees following la Vuelta routes.
Overall a great site and location. We will return and hopefully an improved pool and toilet block will make this a fantastic site.

Finally a flat pitch!!! Something we have missed in this region. The pool is small but sufficient and the beach is a 2 minute walk away so who needs a pool? The undercurrent at this beach however can be strong, be careful!! Nice, friendly, helpful staff. Toilets are clean but need updating. Bus No 1 into St Jean de Luz runs 3 time a day.

We enjoyed our stay. Big well cared for pitch. Cafes beach and mini markets close by although nothing on site. Local bus outside gate. Wonderfull sunsets over sea.
