Travelling party: Couple

Great position near beach. Lovely 3km walk over the headland into st Jean. Bit steep for softie cycling. Didn’t use the pool or restaurant but they look good . Busy even at the beginning of June.
The toilets and showers were clean and tidy, there are not enough for the size of the site. Waiting for a shower to be available in the mornings.

Stayed early May having booked 1 week but we were having such a nice time that we stayed longer. Pitches are level surrounded by hedges and vary in size but on the whole plenty big enough for our caravan, full awning and 4x4. Toilets and showers up to date and kept very clean, also have a washing machine, dryer, hairdryer and ironing board. Approx 100m to the beach where there were also a couple of bars. Fresh bread available at the little shop near reception, every Sunday at 6.30 pm Sangria, cheese and ham are served free of charge to those staying. Large SuperCarrefour 5 mt drive away. St Jean de Luc is really lovely to visit and we caught the train -(car park behind the Gare is free parking) to San Sebastián in Spain.

Busy site with bungalows and mostly cramped pitches alongside beach road. Little or no privacy between pitches. There are several places to eat in the immediate local area and bread is available each morning from the small shop. Sanitary facilities ok, but number of showers is limited for size of site. Nice indoor/outdoor swimming pool. Wifi in the middle section is useless, cellular reception not good also. Motorhome point access to water tap and waste water dump isn’t easy. Pleasant 3km walk into St Jean de Luz which is an attractive town with sandy beach, shops and bars/restaurants. Access to the site from D810 via Avenue Claude Farrere crosses a narrow stone bridge with 3.5t limit. We were ok with a 2.2m van, but I wouldn’t want to try it with anything much bigger - Chemin Erromodardie would be a easier access option.

hi all if you want to be able to walk around the beach and listen to the waves this is the site to stay on here . There is a good restaurant close by and a cafe. The staff on the site are friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean. We came here last year for 2 weeks and have returned this year for a month because we love the site very much and hope to return again next year.

Do not go on middle section of site - small pitches, not all level, no water points and open air toilet block. Staff friendly. Quite along walk in to town.

This is our second visit, for early May it was very busy mainly motorhome on the way back from Spain and Portugal. It is well situated for the beach a pleasant. Walk into St Jean de Luz or to beaches in the other direction. The staff are polite and helpful, pitches a good size, sanitation blocks very good and a heated indoor pool plus if you stay a week 1 night is free, only downside is wifi is poor but it is free

we stayed on this site in April/May 2017 we were only going to stop for 3 days but stayed for 14!! The site was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach was only a couple of minutes walking distance from the site and the café and restaurants were clean and had a good selection of food The site owner is the most pleasant chap also his daughter is very pleasant and likes a good joke she calls me hey mister

We can't fault this site. The staff are really friendly and helpful. When you arrive you are taken on a little buggy to choose your available pitch. The pitches are great. We were a stones throw from the lovely beach. The facilities are good, could do with Jagger sinks for hand washing laundry but that is minor. You can get bread every morning and the pool is lovely. We have used this site twice now and will use it again.
