Great value for money. Easy walk to both lake and village of Parentis-en-Born. Currently some chalets are being demolished which we thought could have waited until the site closed (right next to our pitch!). Pools both lovely, cafe closed. Would return. Facilities clean.
We loved the site. The pitches are spacious, the facilities clean, the pools well maintained and spacious and the staff friendly. The site is well located for a short walk into Parentis-en-Born or to the lake. Sadly the bar & shop were closed whilst we were listening here. Our only quibble was the noisy, dusty dismantling of mobile homes next to our pitch. We moved pitch but others might not be able to move as easily.
Second visit to this campsite which is in a beautiful area for cycling and wandering. Parentis en born is 15 minutes walk away or 5 minutes cycle. Great market and restaurants as well as 2 supermarkets.
Site has spacious pitches with good electric supply and excellent choice of sun or shade. Bar does basic meals. Staff friendly. Very reasonable price. Only negative is to pay for WiFi.
A really good site well located for the local small town (20 mins level walk) or lake beach (10 mins level walk). Located in residential area in a quiet and wooded area. It was very peaceful when we stayed in late April, but I suspect it’s a very different sort of place in high season. Large, level site with plenty of bungalows. Camping pitches are mostly level, spacious but not very private. Good shade on some pitches if required. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools are excellent. There is a bar/ restaurant on site but not open when we were staying. Plenty of showers/toilets.
A great value rustic site. Large pitches not in regimented rows. Plenty of shade if you want it. 2 shower blocks but one closed in September. Very clean. Hot water plentiful. Helpful, friendly staff with good English. Pool looked nice and still open in September. Bread available each morning to order but village with bakeries very near. Also 2 supermarkets. Short walk to the lake. Good location for a stop on a north south route but worth a few days.
Very quite at end of June. Reception closed 12 till 4 but could pick a place and go back after 4. Very large camping pitches. 10 to 15 mins to walk to small quite lakeside beach. The larger popular one was a bit further. Friendly campsite. Mostly French
Fantastic campsite and value for money. Staff super friendly from reception to ground staff. Facilities spotless and cleaned every day. Beautiful green surrounds and a short walk to lovely Village or lake. Only downside is no free WiFi other than limited and not far reaching at reception. Paid for one day and it was very fast. We were too early for outdoor pool and restaurant. We’ll definitely be back!
Good location short walk to the lake and to a pleasant town with plenty of shops and restaurants. Flat pitches in a woodland setting, sanitaires clean and functional indoor pool open out of season cafe/restaurant open looked ok but we didn't use it. For a quiet few days out of season perfect.
Flat, reasonably sized sandy-grass pitches with some shade but nothing in between each pitch. Sanitary facilities okay. Good location on the edge of town and close to large lake. Reasonable access from main north-south autoroute.
