Booked in for a couple of days but was so impressed with the campsite that I stayed a week!
Indoor and two outdoor pools although one of the outdoor pools was closed.
You need to hunt around for a decent pitch as most of them are sandy and uneven and you can get stuck in the sand!
That said this is one of the better campsites in France!
A very big site with direct access to wonderful beach but tough walk over high dune. Easier access along road although bit longer, as there is a pathway on soft sand. Site divided into lots of little areas so doesn’t feel immense. Disappointed wonderful outdoor pools not open though into 2nd week of June. Indoor pool always full of families, no good for a straightforward swim. Beware- most of Acsi pitches under mulberry trees full of squashy staining fruit. Why on earth were these trees chosen ??
Excellent site with direct access to a beautiful dog friendly beach. Out of season it is very peaceful, with free access to the indoor pool and free wifi. in July and August all activities are geared towards families,
Lovely restaurants all within a few minutes of the site. The moules shack is highly recommended.
Word of warning, some of the pitchs are very soft sand, we got stuck and reception staff with their tractor had to pull us out.
We have been here twice now and would recommend.
Fabulously situated for the sea with an enormous, soft sandy beach. We loved it here and stayed longer than planned. Sadly during our visit the fish restaurant was closed for 3 days (without notice) and the local shops had closed for the season (which is contrary to what the site states on the ACSI directory). This meant a 10 mile round trip to a supermarket - when we had planned a non driving, chilling day followed by a restaurant meal. Otherwise perfect location and clean facilities. Some pitches have soft sand - this could be a problem for heavy vehicles.
Repeat visit. Great place with direct access to the beach. Excellent seafood restaurant right at the entrance.
Stayed here over the Easter holidays, mainly Spanish campers. Can't fault the site well situated for the beach and cycle tracks, sanitation blocks plenty and clean, well organised, indoor pool very good, chalets etc looked very. Smart, off season perfect except that some of the pitches are very sandy and we witnessed several vehicles being stuck, in July August the whole resort is family oriented and not for us but off season with free good wifi would recommend.
A very large commercial campsite which was pretty much shut down for the winter. Most of the available pitches were extremely sandy and showed evidence of cars/ motor homes being stuck in them with huge tyre marks and pits. There were no restaurant facilities onsite. Toilets were immaculate and modern which is to be expected from a campsite if this size. The indoor pool was also nice but a little small for the size of the campsite. Nice children's play area and great location by the beach.
Fabulous campsite , the staff are pleasant and helpful, nothing too much trouble Pitches large and well kept as is the whole campsite. Toilet facilities spotlessly clean.
Fantastic beach a very short walk away. Our best campsite ever.
Our pitch is on level ground as are most of the pitches with some hard standing which is really helpful. Not just soft sand
The good points. Close to beach. Plenty of shops and restaurants next to entrance. Good free wi-fi. Had nice looking indoor pool but did not use myself.
The bad points. Most touring spots very soft sand.In 3 days here saw 2 people get stuck manoeuvring caravans. Lots of Mulberry trees for shade and ground littered with fallen fruit. Very messy trying to keep sand and squashed fruit on feet out of motorhome. Toilet/ cleaning facilities very haphazard. In toilet block no hand basins to wash hands but dishwashing sinks instead directly opposite toilets? For 4 star site no hand soap or toilet paper. At chemical toilet disposal point no dedicated water supply to wash cassette out. Had to use taps over foot washing facilities adjacent to refill in order to rinse out back at chemical point.
May be the type of campsite/ holiday area that suites some people but have stayed on much better sites to my liking.
Used as stop over. Pitches were variable and some very soft after rain. Toilet facilities were unisex but good although not sure that washing up facilities should be adjacent. Staff friendly and lovely area. Would use again.
