Campsite La Côte ****

This is one of the best campsites that we stayed at, the staff were helpful and the facilities were great. There are toilet seats on the toilets and soap to use at the sinks!

There are plenty of good shaded pitches but also those in the sun if you want them. Great walks/runs to the beach from the campsite.

Stayed here 4 nights end June and early July. Reception staff very friendly and accommodating with good English. Might have stayed longer only on way back to Cherbourg. Supermarket just up the road through back entrance and Vieux Boucan an easy cycle up the road. Overall a very good quiet site in a good lication. Recommended.

Fantastic site. What a find. Came for 2 weeks stayed for 5! Big pitches. Quiet. Well maintained. Beautiful pool. Good ACSI price for amenities. Clean toilets, hot showers. Great cycle routes in area. Beach 1 mile easy cycle and lovely area. Super U supermarket on main road, walking distance. Souston has a Lidl and L'eclair, 5 minutes in car or 45 minute cycle. What more could we want? We shall be back!

This has got to of been my most favourite campsite so far! We travelled through France and Spain for 2 months in sept and oct 2014 and stayed for 10 days here without wanting to move on! Beautiful pine forests with a 15/20 min walk to a lovely beach. Great toilet facilities and pool area friendly owners/staff and amazing food vans that come on different days! Also a short walk to supermarket and town.lovely area

Excellent site kept clean and tidy facilities very good.warm welcome a nice walk to the sea with a very good sandy beach that seemed to go on forever lots going on around but very peaceful on site.we would certainly return again

The campsite is very well kept, has large well marked out pitches with a mix of sun and shade, clean shower blocks with hot water and a lovely swimming pool. There is also a small on-site shop and play area for children. It is about 20 mins walk to the beach and there is a large supermarket nearby. This campsite is aimed at those wanting peace and quiet as opposed to lively entertainment and would completely fulfil this if it wasn't for 2 factors which, in our opinion, did spoil the peace and quiet: To the south of the campsite is a builders merchants and although you can't see this from the campsite, you can certainly hear the constant revving of truck engines every day as they were loading and unloading. Then, from early evening until late on most evenings, you could hear music and cheering from one of the large campsites nearby. Overall it is a nice campsite, with good walking and cycling routes and a great beach, it’s just a shame about what surrounds it!

We spent a superb three nights here in June 2012. The weather was very changeable as everywhere this Summer but we were able to make use of the fantastic pool facilities. Not so straightforward getting to the beach on foot. The pitches were large and well delineated. Staff were most helpful.

Found this by luck an excellent site well looked after and very helpful owners. Will visit again when in the area.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed on this campsite & it proved to be even better this visit, due to the new toilet block. The owners are friendly & helpful. All facilities were clean & well looked after. Pitches were spacious & well appointed. Thank you for a great stay.
