Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Family of 5. 3 children aged 6, 3 & 9 months. Great stay. Site is situated in lovely woodlands and conveniently across the way from a supermarket as there\\\'s not much around the campsite itself. Great park with baby swing, good size pitches & host was very informative. Told us where to drive to to get a tram into Bordeaux. Great value. Site is good value for money.

Really liked this site. Pirches amongst trees, but still plenty of sun if you want it. Reception very friendly and nice little on site bar. Facilities very clean. Handy Inermarche just across the road, and miles of flat cycle routes.

We only intended to say here for 1 or 2 nights but stayed 4 nights. This is a very quiet peaceful site, set in a lovely woodland. The owners are very friendly and helpful. There is a nice fishing lake with some big fish to be caught. If your pitch is close to reception you can get good WiFi. The road outside toe camp did have some noise but not enough to disturb us. We would recommend this site and we will return.

Despite the ACSI book showing that this site was open till 17/11 it actually closed on 31/10.
Arriving without notice I spoke to the owner and he kindly allowed us to stay on the site overnight, for a small fee to cover water, electricity and wifi access.
There is a supermarket about 200 yards away but this is not open on a Sunday. The road outside the site can also get a bit busy, with large vehicles driving past during the hours of darkness.
The owner was very helpful and spoke very good English.

Thanks for this remark and advice.
Because of risk of ice, we were forced to close sanitories sooner than planned, sorry for that.
You were located close to the road, we havemany pitches really quieter than this one, I assume you\'ll enjoy, hope to see you again.

The campsite is in a nice setting with lots of good cycling routes. The pitch was a good size but was difficult to sleep as next to a busy road. (The traffic started early). The toilet facilities were basic but adequate and clean. (no toilet paper supplied) The food was of a good quality and very reasonably priced. The WiFi hotspot was good.

Reaction from the campsite 9 April 2019

Thanks for this comment,
as stated together, the pitches close to the road and the entrance are the most efficient for WIFI (free), you\'ll find quiter pitches a bit down in the camp site, hope to see you again

We used this as an overnight stop on way up to channel. The welcome was very friendly, the plot large, pleasant walk around natural area of site by stream and lake. The facilities were basic, reminiscent of French sites 30odd years ago but although no seats or paper not the squat type! For this price perfectly adequate.

Friendly site. The toilet facilities are old and many were closed up but perfectly clean. The pitch was on grass and a good size. Quiet surroundings with walking and cycling. The pool is big enough to cool you down on a hot day.
