An exceptional little campsite in every way. Aletta and Xander go out of their way to be helpful. A paradise for children with goats, ponies, chickens, ducks and even a donkey. The trampolines were a big hit with our two grandchildren. Beautifully situated and surrounded by vineyards so ambient peace and quiet is guaranteed.
Location is perfect rural France. Hosts are so friendly and helpful even delivered fresh bread to my door. Restaurant food excellent and not expensive, pool safe and clean as were shower and toilets.
We stayed for one night in early October on our way north to catch our ferry home but we’re sorry we could not stay longer. The countryside surrounding the campsite is really beautiful. We had a lovely pitch at the top of the site, looking out into vineyards. Indeed, after we arrived we did a very pleasant circular walk for about an hour through those vineyards and a forest. The camp site owners were charming and helpful. Two delicious croissants were delivered at 8.30 am the morning we left. The water in the showers was hot and the shower pressure great. It’s a great little campsite and I would thoroughly recommend it. We will be back!
Stay on this site in June 2018. The site is good the facilities are good, food in tje restraunt is also very good with very reasonable prices. The owners do take away from 6pm till 7pm and we got 2 portions of chips so again very reasonable, there was probably enough chips in 1 portion for 2 people, very nice chips they were too. I would definitely recommend this site and if in the area again we would definitely return.
Really loved our one night stopover here. The site is well run and the staff very friendly. The food was excellent and the beer at 3€50 a pint must be the cheapest in France! Will definitely use again on our journey south.
Good location, peaceful with good facilities. A variety of animals are kept on the site which gives it a friendly feel, the owner has good English and was very helpful. We had poor weather and as it was early season the bar restaurant and the pool were not open so can\'t comment on them
Lovely peaceful site - well worth an extended stay. Friendly owners, good facilities (including hand soap, loo seats and paper). Nice food in restaurant and bread delivered to the pitch in the morning. Didn't use pool but looked good. Surrounded by vine yards but not far from small towns.
Selected due to its proximity to the route to Spain for one night but so good we stayed three nights and didn't want to leave. The owners were very helpful and lots of information is provided including files of walks and bike rides you can borrow. We did a bike ride.
Bread can be ordered and is delivered a very morning and there is a good supermarket 5 minutes drive away in the pretty nearby town.
Pitches are a very good size and most seemed to be pretty flat. The site is surrounded by fields of vines and woodland and so has a lovley rural feel.
Good wifi on the pitch and also at the bar. Didn't eat here but had a drink and enjoyed the atmosphere. Lots of campers were eating and the menu looked good value.
The pool area had lots of sunbeds and sunshades and was kept very clean.
Stayed in August so discount not available, but excellent value.
If it is peace and quiet you want this site ticks every box. Very pleasant staff and bread delivered to your door. Good size pitches. Too cold to use pool, but looked fine. The toilet and shower facilities were exceptionally clean and all clearly very new. There are lovely walks from the site through vine yards and although on roads there is very little traffic. There are no downsides to this site at all.
Used as a 1 night stop over with our caravan but would definitely like to stay again for a bit longer to see more of the area. Easy access, you choose your own pitch. Some pitches a bit uneven. The site is neat & tidy & the owners very friendly also good English is spoken. They have a lovely modern mixed toilet block & showers. We didn't use the pool. There are a few ducks etc wandering about which is lovely. The restaurant wasn't open on the one night we stayed but we had a drink at the bar which has a nice terrace. The site was very peaceful especially at night apart from the Owls hooting! There is a supermarket about 3 miles away. All in all a lovely site.
