We read the reviews on this site before we stayed there the toilet facilities were very good so they must have been upgraded during the last year, we had wifi on our pitch but some other didn\'t have so that\'s the luck of the draw, the swimming pool was excellent and as the weather was very hot it was used a lot, the village and Chateau were walkable from the back of the site but it was up a steep hill, the only fault was it was difficult to level the motorhome on what looked like a level pitch.

Friendly owners of a well run campsite.
Nice adjacent village within short walk. Pleasant areas around to visit like Casteon la bataille. Would certainly stay again.

Warm welcome, very good English spoken. A lovely site with updated toilet/shower facilities. Close to a pretty town and good for dog walks. Unfortunately our visit was marred by a weather alert. The owners were very professional and kept everyone well informed of the situation. Would stay here again.

Ideal location for exploring st Emilion and surrounding wine areas. Short walk into town for fresh bread and small but well provisioned market on market day. Fine walks through local vineyards on quiet roads.
Disappointed with only two loos and three showers, unisex, for whole camp-site. Plumbing poor and showers needing to be refurbished - cacked up shower heads, blocked drains. Almost left after first day, but stayed for five days, due to location and other plus points.
Recent change in ownership, refurbishment promised, would return again.

We were attracted to site as 10 amps and free WiFi on 80% of site is shown in ACSI book and internet. On arrival down a long bumpy track we were informed in reception that 6 amps and free Wifi in office area only was available. The ACSI book and internet are not correct on these two items..

Be aware during rains the site ground can become very wet, as the streams running through the camp site become full. Extra washing and toilets facilities are required in the peak periods

Lovely site, beautiful and tranquil. Very friendly hosts, excellent food. We would have liked to stay longer.

A delightful site just below the Chateau and an easy,if steep, walk into the small town where there is a small supermarket and a few shops. Wonderful staff - helpful and friendly. Free wifi but range is limited. Good pitch size but best to avoid those near the stream if wet - we had torrential rain and had to be towed out by brilliant staff helpers. We felt very supportive of the hard-working and committed staff here.
