We stayed here for almost two weeks in Mid June. This is a very well situated Caravan Pk for visiting the many places in the Bordeaux/St.Emillion region. Though Rauzan Village at the top of the hill is very quiet and not many attractions in it there is a Boulangerie with fresh bread every morning, Shop, Pharmacy, and take away Pizza. The Staff are extremely helpful and facilities clean.
really lovely site, very friendly with spacious pitches. The description says it all so I\'ll cut to the chase. The local village is a ghost town, during the ACSI season the bar closes at 7pm and there is no restaurant. For a base to visit St Emilion or maybe a stopover it\'s lovely. A very relaxing place to chill out if you are in the middle of a tour like we were.
Stayed for three nights in May, excellent for cycling. The campsite is clean and well kept, the owners are very helpful and friendly.
Originally planned to stay for 2 nights, stayed 4, beautiful little well maintained site, spotlessly clean including toilet & shower areas. The owners made us really welcome. Easy access to Bordeaux & Bergerac & Saint Emillion. Would definitely stay there again!
Fantastic, quiet campsite within a 5min walk to the old Chateau and village where there is a small supermarket, butchers and boulangerie. The site is well laid out with good size pitches. Toilets and showers are modern and very clean. Staff very friendly with good spoken English who made us feel welcome on arrival and explained the facilities etc well. Cute little bar and a lovely swimming pool which was clean and well maintained. Originally booked 2 nights but decided to stay a 3rd as we were so relaxed!
Really nice campsite near a lovely little town. The owners very incredibly helpful and pleasant. We did experience a couple of very noisy campers the first night we were there, but they were told to leave the following day, which I applaud the owners for. We did wonder if there were some problems with the electrics the first night were were there, as there were strange beeping noises, but when we spoke to the owner it turned out they were the local toads! After that we slept soundly. Little town nearby has a fantastic butchers, and a good pizzeria. Good cycling through the vineyards. Heartily recommend
We stayed for one night in May in our motorhome. It had been raining heavily and ground was soft but no difficulty getting on or off. Owners run reception and bar. Very friendly and helpful. Free WiFi in the bar area. Easy walk around castle and uphill to the village where we bought bread. Good dog walking in grounds surrounding the campsite. We didn\'t try the pool as the weather wasn\'t good enough.
We read the reviews on this site before we stayed there the toilet facilities were very good so they must have been upgraded during the last year, we had wifi on our pitch but some other didn't have so that's the luck of the draw, the swimming pool was excellent and as the weather was very hot it was used a lot, the village and Chateau were walkable from the back of the site but it was up a steep hill, the only fault was it was difficult to level the motorhome on what looked like a level pitch.
Friendly owners of a well run campsite.
Nice adjacent village within short walk. Pleasant areas around to visit like Casteon la bataille. Would certainly stay again.
Warm welcome, very good English spoken. A lovely site with updated toilet/shower facilities. Close to a pretty town and good for dog walks. Unfortunately our visit was marred by a weather alert. The owners were very professional and kept everyone well informed of the situation. Would stay here again.
