unclean, 2 piles of dog poo on pitch, showers cold, man entered the toilet when I had finished to check I had left it clean! Never in 40+ years camping experienced that! cold water to wash up. Bus is nearly an hour into Bordeaux from here and runs very infrequently. We booked 3 nights, which I was asked to pay upfront, and when I advised, we would only stay 2 nights. I was told my mistake, so there is no refund.very noisy road outside. Appalling !

The family run this park quite well and are jack of all trades but could do with having some extra maintenance staff. More water taps would help and stronger water pressure. Given that, this is a very nice site, close to Creon and set in the Bordeaux wine producing area. There is a bus stop outside the site for the bus to Bordeaux. The unisex toilets are clean, well ventilated and lit. The cafe food is tasty and inexpensive and the bar has a fair selection of drinks. Worth a visit.

To start,
the pitch, obviously had been flooded recently, there was some stone chips, just enough go put the van on, and very little else.

On arrival, booking in was easy enough, when the man eventually turned up. (In fairness he spoke good English)

That swimming pool so proudly boasted of, it was a disused shambles.

As a site, it hasn’t much to recommend it.

Horrible site dirty & smelly toilets miles away from Bordeaux will never stay again

I came here hoping for Bel Air and got smell air. the toilets were awful and seemed like they were never cleaned. There is a urinal in the corner that constantly people miss as there is no light above it. The pool that is advertised is closed, the mini golf that is advertised is closed. I just reckoned I had to take it in the chin as a bad decision made. I had paid for 3 nights paid for after all. Then I received news which made it impossible to stay and when I went to the office they would not refund even one night of the two nights I did not stay. I managed to get them to agree to give me a bottle of wine in lieu but they would only give me a £8 bottle of wine and only one at that.

This was the WORST experience I\'ve had at a campsite prior to my having to leave for personal circumstances and the lack of compassion shown for my personal circumstances just made it worse.

Either they know when the ACSI person is coming to inspect and everything is pristine for that or this campsite has went way downhill since it was inspected last.

We chose this site because of its close proximity to Bordeaux and had hoped to take the bus into the city, however there was only one bus a day into town at lunch time and one returning at about 7 pm. The site was poorly maintained, some of the grass pitches resembled wild flower meadows, the grass was knee high. In the showers which were dated and not particularly clean it took about 5 minutes for the hot water to come through. Would not recommend.

Good stopover site. As it was dry we didn’t experience the mud but it did drizzle as we left and puddles did begin to form.
Well marked out pitches with hedges. Nice pool. Toilets were very clean but no soap or toilet paper which I think is poor. Not keen on mixed toilets but it’s 2021!
We cycled to Bordeaux on normal bikes using the cycle Lane. Took 90 mins as I’m slow but fit. Bit longer on way back as slightly uphill. Otherwise not much nearby unless you drive (we don’t on site) though when we left we visited ruined abbey 6 km away.
I liked the way the staff asked if we had an Acsi card - first question!
