Arrived just after 1 pm went to cafe on the campsite was told reception does not open till 2 pm had to wait outside. Only certain pitches for ACSI, ok. Toilet block nearest was not open, next one was near reception. We was looking for a campsite to stay for a week, after a couple of hours here decided this was definitely not for us. Stayed one night.
as we acsi we were given resricted access to pitches that were a lot less atractive also roads around the camp were uneven so much my motor bottomed out. There are a lot nicer sites than this one also a lot closer to a Village/Town which is a need for lots of motorhomes
This is our second stay at this campsite and will be back again. Well located next to the bay of Arcachon, many shops and restaurants in easy reach. Shop on site has good selection of basic items. The bar and restaurant and entertainment seem popular. We had the take away pizzas one night but they were not very good and expensive. Pitches are large with variable amounts of shade, we were there during a heatwave (temps 38deg plus) but there was a good choice of pitches with full shade. Sanitaires clean and reasonably modern. Very helpful and friendly staff on reception.
Enjoyed being close to the bay. Cycled from here on dedicated cycle paths. Heated pool was great but surprised outdoor pool wasn't available. Administration staff very helpful (spoke good English). Restaurant facility in need of an upgrade. Was not tempted to eat there. Shop well stocked and friendly service.
Lovely situation bordering onto the bay, Very clean and modern sanitaires. Helpful reception. Large campsite but felt small and friendly.
