Fabulous site . Derrick and Caroline and their 2 daughters are a delight. Have been here many times and always had a fantastic welcome. Highly recommended

A lovely campsite, would highly recommend! the location is good with lovely views of Beynac castle, the owners are very helpful and have excellent English ( always a bonus for us!) but best of all....the shower block is heated which was really lovely as overnight temp was down to 2 degrees Celsius when we were there in early May. The shower block is also very modern and clean with plenty of hot water.
Will certainly return on our next trip to the Dordogne

Agree with previous positive comments. Good central location for nearby attractions. Couldn’t find fault with this site. Would definitely return.

Beautiful site large pitches either sun or shade. Caroline and Derrick are lovely people so friendly and accommodating. We have been many times and will continue going in the future. Recommend highly

Great campsite. Very helpful staff.
Clean and well maintained. Would certainly visit again. Beynac only 15 minutes across the fields or 20 if you choose to walk the back roads.

Travelling party: Couple

If you want a lovely heated pool off season then this is the place.toilets facilities are very clean and owners very friendly. You can walk into Beynac in 15 mins . Good other walks from the campsite too. We had good weather but a lot of dew in the morning, I wish the pitch grass was shorter. A lot of trees on site so if you want sun pick your pitch. You can see Beynac castle from a lot of pitch which is a bonus

This is an excellent campsite. Flat pitches, some with a great view of Beynac castle, clean modern facilities and a nice new pool are the main points. Sunsets behind the castle can be spectacular. There is a bar and a small restaurant which also does some takeaway meals. Fresh bread and croissants can be ordered for morning pickup and there is a small shop stocking basics. It takes about 15mins to walk into Beynac and there is a lot to do and see within a very short distance. The gardens at Marquessac are very near and have a view over the Dordogne that is amazing. The view from the pretty village of Domme is also good and castles at Beynac, Castelnaud and Milandes are worth a visit with the latter including a falconry display. A little further afield the Vezere valley offers more pretty villages and the prehistory sites. Sarlat is about 5 miles away and has a nice old town with lots of eating places and the usual large supermarkets.
Staff on the site spoke several languages and were always very pleasant and helpful.
