Drove past this site- turned round and returned- so glad we did ! Perfect location on the river, nice large pitches. Didn’t use pool or bar but looks ok. Friendly staff. Aires site at entrance of site- full of motorhomes- don’t know how they can stop them coming and using facilities?!?! Hardly any difference in price!! Nice walk to La Roque-Gageac but a little scary on road - fortunately it was quiet. You can climb and go on back road to village, but need to be fully fit !!- no dodgy knees !! Spoke to other campers who have returned to this site as locality good for exploring the Dordogne or just relaxing

Highly recommended, especially if you can get a pitch at the bottom facing the river. This is the third site we have stayed at in the immediate area, and is now our new favourite.
Owner extremely friendly an helpful.
Only small criticism is could do with a few more water points around the site.

We really enjoyed this campsite. Walks to La Roque-Gageac and Beynac. We cycled to both and also Domme. Lovely being by the river, got the last pitch. Pitches large. We stayed Sept 2018 and for 3 nights. Pool not heated, had a couple swims and can also swim in the river. Small stoney beach, nice grassy area a little back with trees for shade- lovely spot to relax. Didn’t go to the bar, ate in Beynac one night. Ordered bread from the office- bit tough. Friendly owners. Aire by the entrance. Which was busy. That can use the pool. Toilet blocks adequate. No toilet paper or seats. All you need there.

Lovely location, good sized pitches, very helpful Cyril. Strongly recommend this site with 2 caveats - the pizza is cheap but not great and the toilets are bring your own toilet roll. I\'d happily pay more for that to be included

Lovely little campsite, owned and maintained by a very friendly family. Good size pitches, many facing directly the river, where you can see canoes and gabarres going up and down. Excellent base for the Dordogne area with many \'prettiest villages in France\' close by. La Roque is within flat walking distance ( about a mile) so if you\'re not very mobile maybe it\'s a little too far for you. Nearest supermarket is a couple of miles away in Cenac. We would definitely use this site again.

Very good site on banks of Dordogne. Walking distance to village and good area for walking, cycling and sightseeing.
Friendly staff and good facilities.

This was not our first choice in the area, but our chosen campsite had closed early for the season. We are pleased it had, as we found this one, walking distance from La Roque Gageac, and easy access to Domme and les Jardins de Marqueyssae, lovely places to visit. Cyril was helpful from the first email.

One of the nicest sites we have been to. The position by the Dordogne river is amazing, with a ten minute walk into La Roque Gageac. Our pitch was overlooking the river and quite spacious. We cycled to Domme one day, which was hilly but not too far (under an hour) and to Castlenaud and Daglan another day, this was on a lovely cycle track. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great site in a fantastic location right alongside the Dordogne. It is within walking distance of the local village, which has a number of restaurants and a bakery. The site facilities are very good and the owners and very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
