This is a great value for money site. Nice pitches below the trees. Sanitary facilities basic but clean with loads of hot water. Definitely worth using if you are OK with a no frills site. Owner is a really nice guy.

The campsite was open but reception was locked with a number to ring, which I did and was told I could enter. We setup and noticed there were no other campers in the site which was a bit worrying and at no stage did anyone come around to check if we got in OK.. The washing up place only had one tap for hot water which ran out onto the ground. There is a factory at the entrance and another across the river. When leaving the next morning I had to ring again for someone to come so I could pay. A very poor experience and I will not be returning.

Admittedly we arrived a couple of days before due to open, and they were preparing a marquee in the grounds. The toilet block was awful, no seat, no toilet paper, no soap at wash basin. Very scruffy pitches. Have been a few years ago and it was ok.
