Fantastic location with direct river access looking across to Limeul. Lovely site with very spacious pitches and great facilities. Very warm and welcoming helpful family and staff. Great bar and restaurant....Fish and Chips highly recommended! So much to do in the area..the Vesere valley is so interesting, must do is a visit to La Roque St. Christophe...truly astonishing. Lidl, Aldi and Intermarche all in La Bugue about a 10 min drive away. This was our 2nd visit...we will be back..

Stayed for 3 nights in September. Campsite was reasonably full so a good atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. The pitches are good and the facilities clean. The bar and snack bar were good value and the food was excellent. Will definitely go again.

Found this gem of a site on the acsi guide, it is perfect for a relaxing quiet stay, all we could hear during the day was bird calls and at night the owls. A few days during our stay we had the airforce jets going over very fast and very low. Lovely short walk into the village over the two bridges. The bar and snack bar on site were excellent, we had pizza, burger and marinated chicken from the snack bar,all were really nice and good value. We will certainly be going back next year,so much to see in the area.

One of our favourite French sites. Very well run and very friendly. Good location everything reasonably priced. Varied and good sized pitches with big open areas. Would recommend booking in advance because of popularity.. Have stayed here several times. Clientele predominantly British.

Stayed here for 6 nights, facilities very good. Lovely swimming pool for both adults and children. The majority of pitches are well shaded which is ideal when it is warm but not so good when it is raining. Pitches under the trees which are the majority suffer from sap dropping from the trees that covers the car and caravan roof. Again the pitches are mostly grass that do tend to get a little muddy when wet. Adequate water taps and ehu points are spread around the site and should be near the pitch, although there are no drains for grey water. An adequate number of showers are provided that have both temperature and flow adjustment.
The reception, shop, bar, snack bar and take away are housed in one building adjacent the entrance. Free use of bats for table tennis and other games are provided in the shop. WiFi at reception for free. Bread and essential supplies available from the shop, if they run out of bread there is always the bread machine in Limeuil.
Within walking distance of Limeuil but apart from being a beautiful spot there is very little there. A stoney \"beach\" edges the Dordogne accessible from the site for canoe launching and dog paddling, river is very fast flowing, beware!
All in all a lovely site in a beautiful area but with the few already mentioned drawbacks of shade, possible muddy pitches and sap.
Supermarket and nearest town about 4 miles.

We stayed 2 nights in our Motorhome in June. Friendly, efficient reception. We were left to choose our own pitch from the available free pitches. Pitch was grassy and very good size. Toilet facilities adequate and clean. Only 2 showers in the block near us so these were often busy. Plentiful hot water for shower and washing up. Friendly and well used bar and snack bar. Food of reasonable quality. Lovely long pebble beach with access to the Dordogne. Swimming pool clean and well maintained but possibly on the small size. Easy walk into Limeuil with small shops and a number of restaurants. Two of these were closed on Wednesday evening and the third was \"finished\" at 8pm. Site promotes recycling and we were given a bag for recyclable rubbish at the beginning of our stay.

Great location over looking the gorgeous village of Limeuil. Situated on the River with access for swimming. Large pitches and a great pool. Strongly recommend.

What a great campsite on the banks of the Dordogne river. Unfortunately on our visit the river was high so no beach. The site itself is well maintained and the showers/toilets old but very clean. Good, well stocked shop & nice reception area and a lovely pool. Pitches were very large surrounded by shrubs & trees. Plenty of supermarkets and shops in Domme a few minutes drive from the site
